That is total rubbish. Normally, you write sensible posts but that is not true.

Balotelli is and has been really trying,

      Then why bother buying him?

he has little pace he dosent close play down and appears lazy he is everything Luis wasn't so its going to be difficult for him

The new spurs unfortunately. I'm getting f**king loads of texts from my pals saying that anyway.

We have 100% lost our flow big time. I'm genuinely worried about where we're going this season.

Tell your pals to hold the obituary until Sturridge partners Ballo upfront and Can gets into the midfield.

Surely this has to be Sterling's worst game for us.

Well, how many chances Mario had today? He tried. He got out of the box, tried to create his own chances, tried to set up his teammates, but he couldn't.

And, why are already trying to make him the scapegoat? Why not blame Rodgers for the terrible choices he made? Or why not blame Sterling for another bad display and two missed chances?

If it stays at 1-0 then Raheem has cost us a point

You can't be serious. Everyone was atrocious. You can't single out Raheem. Personally, Mario was our best player. He did as much as he could without any service. I'm guessing at the moment he wishes he joined someone else.

We badly need Sturridge back because Balotelli is f***in sh*te. I had my doubts about this signing but was also excited because he possess obvious talents.

But it only makes things even more frustrating to see a strong player, with a powerful shot, good technique and excellent first touch, wasted with such a horrible attitude.

He keeps trying the spectacular even though he's barely done the very simple well yet; and he keeps ruining our attacking plays more often than not, never looking for a pass when he's in the direction of the goal. The only time he attempts to pass is when he's with his back to the goal and then often does a decent job of controlling not-so-good passes and laying it down to Sterling or whoever is around him.

Anyway, he's a terrible team player and with his big head attitude I can hardly see it changing any time soon. With Sturridge on the side, his strength is more useful but alone up top he's a parasite.

Seems to be only in it for himself. Only wants to score 40 yard screamers, never brings anyone into play, doesn't pass it, doesn't make the runs which Coutinho, Hendo, Gerrard expect.

He is the anti Suarez. The anti Sturridge. Utterly putrid performance. His inclusion in the side is akin to including a Nazi float in the Notting Hill carnival. He is totally contrary to our identity we created the past year.

Lost for words.... Very poor all around. Makes me cringe how easily we are beaten on corners. Need to sort out defending set pieces and get some chemistry in attack pronto or its gonna be a very frustrating season....

Can't even see the most ardent and outspoken supporters on this form being able to defend this crock of crap tonight. We're seriously deluded if we think we can make anywhere near 4th come the end of the season.

      F***ing rubbish!

A squad that does not know how to score or attack with sense.

A manager that makes you wonder how he switched from the tactical genius of last season to this confused manager out of his depth. He bought very good players but his defence strategy is still as rubbish as ever and he has no clue how to fix it.

We need a lot more than Gerrard and Coutinho in that midfield.

Man of this sorry excuse of a match: Balotelli

I cant see anything Balo offers and the way we have changed our system to wide play, to suit him is disgusting. He is sh*te. So is Lambert. So is Borini. We have 1 sicknote great striker. We are fu**ed!

I know he was hard to replace but we have seriously fu**ed up in the effort of trying.

Seriously Balo looks the same as Crouch, Kenwyn Jones, Agbonlahor and the likes of that sh*te. He offers NOTHING

Raheem Sterling should have a long hard look at himself - arrogance getting to him, thinking a move to Madrid is already tied up? Get your act in order pal.

Lallana looked lively and decent again - his great ball was fu**ed up by the dire Sterling tonight though.

And 4-5-1 just isn't working - Lambert was brought on in and again, it opened things up. We are much better playing with TWO strikers.

I don't mind us getting beat as long as we come off the pitch having given everything they could. But were is the passion in this side they should be furious with that performance and Brendan should be kicking F**k out of the dressing room right now.

We're expecting the club to win with kids.
      19 & 20 year olds won't perform like 27 year olds.
You can't expect them to perform at a consistently high level.

      Showed tonight.
Sterling had enough chances to win that.
      Markovic had chances too.

      Suarez and Sturridge.
It's a pity we only had one full season of it.

F***ing frustrating. Not one player deserves any credit today. We played sh*t as a team. Main culprits Raheem, Marcovic,  Enrique and Brendan's tactics and team selection. F**k got up at 4:45 for this sh*t! Shattered.

      Get your head down mate.

Very average from both teams,  we had better chances,  but didn't do enough to deserve the win.
Basel are no great shakes either, but at the moment I'm not overly confident that we can get a win against them at Anfield.
