Not a new player as such but it looks like he is going to be recalled from his loan spell shortly.

5 goals and 1 assist in 20 Championship games but his all round game has been superb. I actually believe he is physically stronger than Raheem Sterling so no worries there. I also believe he should never have been loaned out at all.

I don't know about that, had he not been then I'm sure how much football he would have had this season, even with our struggles early on I'm not sure Rodgers would have thrown him in there, he would have got a few minutes here and there. But by going out he has developed more, played those 20 odd games and will come back a more rounded player.

I would only bring him back if he is genuinely thinking of using him, if he isn't then the rest of the season with regular football will only help him.

Exactly what we've lacked this season bar Raheem and more recently Markovic.

I'd take that. Those 3 players could transform the second half of the season and we aren't too far off 4th spot.

Wonder if he will actually get any time on the pitch - seems a strange one for me.

It does however, IMO of course rule out any transfers coming in this month...

We have plenty of games in next two months. With two cup games against Chelsea, FA cup game, Europa league, and PL games.

Would love to see him play right wing back, I think he would be a better option than Manquillio & Johnson.

True, but all this was true at the start of the season  - still he was sent on Loan. Now, im not against the initial Loan deal, but hope the recall see's him get games.

Or it's an indication the club won't be paying out for any signings this winter.

Or hopefully, the club are giving these players a chance and are going to spend any money strengthening other positions we need to. Ever the optimist.

With Ibe coming back and more than likely Origi I cant see any other strikers coming in this window.

Will only be a good idea bringing him back if he gets some games and not the odd 5min cameo here and there.

He has a eye for goal having scored 5 times for Derby so could be a win win for LFC and Jordon.

I can see some defences shitting themselves at the thought of facing Sturridge, Raheem, Markovic and Ibe..................... ...

A lot of inexperience there though and we have seen Sterling in particular struggle against the more physical defenders.

I don't think Raheem, Marko and Ibe would be starting many games together ahead of Stevie and Lallana but what great options with possibly Raheem playing Wing Back.

Pound for pound Raheem is very strong, Jordon even more.
Makovic needs to gain a bit of upper body strength so he doesn't get pushed off the ball so easily but overall I have no worries on the physicality front.

Isssss he really what we should be targeting now though. Attacking midfielders isn't what springs to mind when you think about where we need to strengthen.

I don't know, we loaned him out to get first team football this season and he's getting that and it's working. Is he really going to get first team football, and I meancertain first team like Sturridge is when he's fit. When Sturridge is fit, he plays for Liverpool, no doubt, and the same goes for Ibe at Derby right now... And again I'll state that it's working...

IF we're really buying into this 'future building' we're doing now (and I'd like to state I am a believer of that system, granted a few tweeks are certainly needed, buying bigger stars to usher in the youth etc.) Then shouldn't we let Ibe continue to grow at the great rate he is now with first team football this season. If it ain't broke don't fix it springs to mind.

I see FSG have reduced us to talking about brining one of our own players back from loan as an actual transfer. ;D

Can't help but feel that the links to Ibe coming back and Origi are an indicator that Brendan has been told we won't be bringing in any 'real' transfers, and we're trying to strengthen on the cheap. Again....
