He doesn't HAVE to play, and yes he is the best forward at the club.
Does he currently have the fitness to perform the task in the manner Sterling does?
      No.

he needs to play games... he cant get fitter on the bench!!

so of course he has to play... Im choosing finnishing over running

Wait. We need some kind of high octane, mega-press against Blackburn Rovers when we're at home? Start Sturridge. Same XI as Wednesday.

      No.

Need some one to put it in the back of the net as as well. No point running around a lot if you lack the natural instinct of a striker which is what Sturridge excels at.

Full strength for me. Don't play till the following Monday anyway!!

                                  Mignolet
                           Can   Skrtel Sakho/Lov
               Markovic Henderson Allen  Moreno
                              Sterling  Coutinho
                                   Sturridge

Ward; Sakho/Lovren, Johnson; Gerrard/Williams; Lallana; Balotelli, Lambert.

Yep, with you there mate. No change unless injured. Full strength. Don't take these for granted and go at em with a vengence. No game for a while. We've a real chance of a trophy. All guns should be blazing.

Completely forgot that it was the quarter final stage. I was checking the round fixtures yesterday and wondered why there were only four matches. This is a massive opportunity and if we do beat Blackburn tomorrow then there's a 3 in 4 chance that we get another 'lesser' team in the semi's. We can't take these lightly so like others have said, our best team starts.

As if my weekend couldn't get any better, I've now got a ticket for this game.

So whose going, and where is everyone meeting up beforehand?

BT Sport will literally say anything to try and get people to watch their games won't they.

Jake Humphrey was just making people aware of the Liverpool game tomorrow on BT Sport and said "Liverpool are on a great run and it's a game you shouldn't miss with Blackburn on a great run of their own". That great run of Blackburn's is 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss :D Some great run that is.

                       Mignolet
              Toure  Skrtel  Sakho
      Markovic Henderson Allen Sterling
               Lallana       Coutinho
                       Sturridge

Maybe a bit of overkill but those three CBs are more than capable of handling their own, allowing the mass attacking threat to do the job.

We absolutely have to focus on Blackburn tomorrow. But wouldn't a semi vs. Villa be sweet ...

This cup is ours for the taking, I envisage a final with Arse,

Nope. Been saying for weeks now it's written in the stars. It's us v the Mancs with Stevie capping his glorious career by scoring the winner.

Yea I completely agree, it's our only shot at trophy so the boys need to strap a pair on and get over whatever 'fatigue' they feel. Plus, it would be the first trophy for most of the team so they shouldn't need any extra motivation.

Get the job done, keep your eye on the prize ;)

To echo many others, i too feel we HAVE to select a very strong line up.
This is our only chance of silverware and we really have to reach the final.
      Would go for:

      Mig
      Can
      Skrtel
      Lovren
      Marko
      Allen
      Hendo
      Moreno
      Sterling
      Coutinho
      Sturidge

Balo, Toure and stevie to come on

Gonna be a bruiser but feel we will get a 3-1 win
