Well beaten I'm afraid. Mario was finally onside but the whistle had long gone when he put it in.

Our midfield didn't support attack or defence, and we were dominated in that position.
Big changes needed for next season, we cannot rely on Sturridge and Liverpool can not be succesful in the true sense of the word with the dross of Balo, Borini and Lambert as back up options
Poor recruitment in the Summer has put us where we are and personally I want somebody held accountable for wasting the great base we had from last season to build a side capable of challenging on all fronts.
A lot of work to be done and we are back to where we have been been for the 3 years previous to last season.
Anyway today the best side won, and I believe we are going back to no man's land as a force in this country. If we do not act soon and refuse to learn from mistakes then we can expect the odd trip to Wembley over the next decade to be the sum of our efforts.
