You're right though.
I was all in favour of him wanting to stay last summer mate but after being so determined to fight for his place and failing, it's time for him to go. He clearly showed absolutely nothing in training for Brendan to trust him to do the business on the pitch and that for me is a big no no.
He had his chance, he didn't take it and that's the harsh reality of pro sports. One chance/opportunity is all you get and it's a massive lesson to all our talented youngsters just waiting in the wings. Flanno did it and out of all our better Youth players from his age group he was the last one people thought would do it.
