Firmino basically works for others to shine. Cut Salah‘s goals by 10 if Bobby wasn‘t doing all the dirty laundry. I would give him a new improved contract. He is also a guy that could play in midfield if necessary due to injuries, so he is versatile. It is also important for long term: Alisson, Fab and Bobby will make Liverpool what those Spanish clubs are today for many Brazilians…because if you are talented 10y. old today in Brazil and you follow your football idols you follow Liverpool and 10 years later it might make a difference which team you choose.

Got to be a joke this? Improved contract on a declining player? And somehow you are co relating  Firmino's work with Salah's output? I wonder why is Salah scoring even though Firmino's presence in the first 11 has been decreasing this year.

I love Bobby but do think he's struggled for a fair while now. Some good games in there but in general not at the standards he was 2 years ago.

Would like us to keep hold of him as he's a great option and there's certain games he's perfect for but in general I don't think he's in our strongest XI anymore.

Can’t lie, I used to believe this would be the case, that Salah wouldn’t score as many without Firmino in the team but the proof is in the pudding, as they say.

Up until Salah got called away for Afcon, you could argue he was just off the back of his most prolific period at the club, scoring 17 goals in 21 games in the league. In that time Bobby had 4 Premier League starts (as well as 7 late appearances off the bench).

      Huh?

      Lost his starters job
      Barely touches the ball.
      Athletically unspecial
His invisibility in games is a common theme more times than not
His replacement is the #2 goal scorer in the PL

      So.....let's give Bobby a raise
      LMFAO

Better yet....pay up for Substitute Bobby because LFC will bring good cheer to Brazilian toddlers

Tell ya what. Cheryou was underrated. If we had known how to use him, he would’ve turned into the next Zidane.

High quality finish by Bobby for the opener tonight. Put in a solid shift dropping back to help the midfield as well.

I am not his biggest fan after last two years' drop in form but that header from Firmino last night. The technique to generate such power and accuracy while running away from goal. Absolutely stunning and what this leg needed.

May as well, apparently some of us believe he has lost his form for now… until a certain game in the future where we are missing our false 9.

It's amazing considering how long fans have watched him, that they don't understand how good he is, even when he doesn't score or assist.

But at least we have a good squad with options to cover him when missing.

I'm really not sure what to even do with this. He's like 29 years old. Guess I better ring up the undertaker I've got almost 20 years on him. I suppose I'll kick any minute.
