He's also shown some quality since moving here so I don't really understand the negative assumptions either.

I really think he is going to be some player for us given time

I think everyone will get a chance to impress even the likes of Lovern and Allen. A new manager can bring the best out of players. I believe we have a good squad of players and without adding to it over the winter months we can still make top four.

According to reports today Coutinho wants out.

Coutinho was going anyway. Stunning player but never expected him to stay. Was always a £££ asset to be sold on. Milk his talent for the remaining time. Expect him to be a Barca squad player though.

Balague hedging his bets, Barca are starting on the hard sell!! Neymar gushing about him, David Luiz same agent etc.

I reckon we'll try to convince him of another season then cash in for big bucks.

Thought the fee Barca are supposedly offering was a bit of an insult though.... £22million , we paid near enough that for bloody Markovic!

I don't know what is worse, their offer or the fact we paid 22m for Markovic.  ???

Don't know why people think that Klopp won't like players with high work rates that are able to press at high intensity for long periods... It's almost as if they are just listing players they don't like without thinking.

First training session for players + manager today.
Trying hard to impress the new man no doubt.
Will be really interesting to see who Klopp favors ... and doesn't ....

I'd think lightweights and less aggressive players will be on the shortlist of players to be shipped out. Moreno and Enrique will most probably survive. Balo may just have a second chance here.

He is the 1st one to be slapped by the boss. There is only room for one beard at LFC and that belongs to the boss. Either he will slap him and make him shave off his beard with a dull razor. ;)

Was thinking the other day that Enrique may have a renewed opportunity now.

Obviously there is a fair amount of competition now but it's entirely possible that Enrique and Moreno could feature in the same side with a flat back 4.

Joseph has to be the favourite for the door, followed by f**k knows ;D

I actually think That Joe Aleen might get a bit of a run under Klopp ya know. He is very good in a team that presses the ball, he closes quickly, anticipates well and knows when to do it. He is also more mobile, quicker and fitter than Lucas.

Of all our maligned players (and there are plenty of them) I've just got a sneaking suspicion he might step up his game under the new gaffer knowing the style he will want us to play.

Not a chance mate, Klopps likes players who run all day, not strutting peacocks

      Mores the pity , if he's captain material then we're fu**ed .
Have to agree with this, Just because you have a good engine, doesn't make you captain material. Henderson rarely if ever, takes command of a game, and doesn't even resemble an imposing figure of a player.
Think we'll bumble on and there will be a big purchase in Jan, a dynamic, outstanding powerhouse in midfield who will demand massive effort from everyone. Don't know who mind you, but I bet Jürgen does. ;D

Mignolet, Allen, Toure, Lucas, Skrytel and Henderson are all bog stantard footballers who should never have been allowed to wear a liverpool shirt. Klopp will see right through these sub -standard players. Some of whom fans on here have given ridiculous praise.

Ibe will get the kick up the arse he needs, he has done nothing at all in a red shirt. Once again receiving false praise on this forum for doing nothing. We finally have a  manager who will not tolerate mediocrity  from bog standard players. Henderson being Liverpool captain is a slap in the face to this great club. It is no longer amateur night at Anfield.
