That's what's frustrating me about Leicester almost ready to win the Title, mate. Surely we have a better squad then them and they are just about to do what we have been craving for over 2 and a half f**king decades. Pisses me right off!
As frustrating as it is Ian you can't take anything away from Leicester, they have taken advantage of a unique situation where the usual suspects have dined from a different table, circumstances have dictated how they have came to the point of winning the whole shooting match, ie; no Euro football, a practically injury free squad, three outstanding individuals with a consistency second to none, and perhaps more importantly a manager who has seen it done it and wore the T-shirt, for me he's been the best signing of the season,
We almost, almost pulled it off in 13/14, you could argue we had 3/4 outstanding individuals in Gerrard, Suarez, Sturridge and greedy KUNT, we lost out not because Stevie slipped, or Palace dragged themselves to victory, we lost because we dropped too many points earlier in the campaign with Hull and Villa being the standouts, winning just one of those matches would have seen the Premiership pennant flying high over Anfield the following season,
It is F***ing annoying that a club such as Leicester can simply waltz to the title when in all honesty there would be a better chance of Cheryl Cole sitting on my face, but it is what it is and fair fucks to them, this is a one off, we might never see the likes again, well not in my lifetime I would imagine,
We will see next season how they cope when they will have 4,5,6 clubs breathing down their necks from day one, in fact it wouldn't surprise me if the were to fight against relegation come the end of next season, realistically who gives a F**k about Leicester city, we can all doff our hats and rightly so, but like I said it's a one off, a freak season to say the least, the sooner it ends the better in all honesty.
