      Jürgen Klooopp, Jürgen Kloooop,

Seems to be a real buzz about this, it's a similar feeling to when Rafa took over IMO. It feels like the good times are set to return with us becoming a team that people don't look forward to playing against.

      Welcome to the Kop Klopp

I only joined on here 2-3 years after Benitez took charge so I don't know what it was like around that time but since I've been on here this is definitely the biggest buzz I've experienced for any player or manager.

There was no forum when he was appointed.  10 year anniversary in January.

Truly delighted this evening ecstatic even, even though a pipe burst in my house this evening and flooded the kitchen and ballsed the electrics nothing has removed the grin from my face, nothing.
I haven't had much joy out of Liverpool football club since Luis packed his toothbrush and pissed off to barca in fact it's being dull and a tad depressing to be honest.
But this news today that JK has joined had me punching the air in delight as i was sure we'd F**k it up somehow.
Fantastic Fantastic news the joy is back😜😜😜😜😜😜👍👍👍👍👍👍⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️😃😃😃😃🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

The appointment of Jürgen Klopp as the new manager is a great move for so many reasons but it feels like the best thing to come from this is a unity between the fans where often during the past 12 months it has felt divided. This signing has everyone positive and believing in the same manager which can only help the atmosphere inside Anfield which has sadly been below our usual standard recently. This feel good factor around the club can only help the players on the pitch and coupled with a top coach leading the players who knows what could happen this season. Enjoy this reds !! :kop5cf8koxp6:

I haven't felt this good since Uncle Bob retired. Jürgen appears to be a man in the mould of Mr Shankly. It's the team that matters and everything else is nowhere. Remember just one thing- it is the support of the Liverpool fans  which  matters. If you get them on your side, your rewards will be phenomenal.

Welcome to the Pleasuredome Mr Klopp. May your reign be long and successful.

Some comments by Jürgen.(Had to post them. Sorry if they have been posted before.)

      On competing against Bayern Munich
“Go through the world and find me a team who can finish as champions in the same league as Bayern. If we should finish second this summer, I’ll find a truck and drive it through my garden. If nobody will rejoice, I’ll do it alone.

“We have a bow and arrow and if we aim well, we can hit the target. The problem is that Bayern has a bazooka. The probability that they will hit the target is clearly higher. But then Robin Hood was apparently quite successful.”

On Mats Hummels’ continuous injury problems
“We will wait for him like a good wife waiting for her husband who is in jail.”

      On victory at Bayern Munich
“When Dortmund last won here 19 years ago, most of my players were still being breast-fed.”

      On signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan
“Mkhitaryan fits us like an arse on a bucket. What he offers is exactly what we need.”

On the difference between himself and Arsène Wenger
“He likes having the ball, playing football, passes. It’s like an orchestra. But it’s a silent song. But I like heavy metal more. I always want it loud.

      On dealing with defeat
“When I gave the first interview, I was very disappointed. After the second one 10 minutes later, I was feeling better. In 30 minutes, I’ll probably feel like we won the match.”

      On being sent off
“I’m a bit proud of my first red card as coach. I approached the fourth official and said: ‘How many mistakes are allowed here? If it is 15, you have one more.’”

When asked by a Schalke fan what the secret is to winning the Bundesliga
“How do you explain to a blind person what colour is?”

On motivating his team after a poor first-half performance
“I told my players during the interval: ‘Since we’re here anyway, we might actually play a bit of football.’”

      His own perspective on football

“It’s very emotional, very fast, very strong, not boring, no chess. Of course tactical, but tactical with big heart. Tactical things are so important, you cannot win without tactics, but the emotion makes the difference. Life in our game, that’s important.”

On creating a style of football at Borussia
“The fans should not only recognise us by our black and yellow jerseys. Even if we play in red, everyone in the stadium should think: ‘Whoa, that can only be BVB.’”

      On Barcelona’s tiki-taka style
“It is not my sport. I don’t like winning with 80% [possession]. Sorry that is not enough for me. Fighting football, not serenity football, that is what I like. What we call in German ‘English’ — rainy day, heavy pitch, 5-5, everybody is dirty in the face and goes home and cannot play for weeks after.”

      On his hair transplant
“Yes, it’s true. I underwent a hair transplant. And I think the results are really cool, don’t you?”

Sounds like just the man for Anfield.
