Credit to Watford though. They were absolutely top drawer. Not been tormented like that for a long time. We could have played that game 20 times over and we still wouldn't have won.

the point is though not one of their players would have ever come on our radar so something is wrong

The crosses that went into the box is without any purpose and it is frustrating, they don't bother to look up where the players were while the players inside the box were strolling or statues like, not attacking the near post or running into spaces to score. They just stood there and looked at each other hoping that the ball would land on their feet or head. Klopp must step up a few gears and start to be brutal and shortlist some players to offload from now.

I can take getting beat, it's part of football. What I cannot stomach is the total lack of effort and fight by players wearing the famous Red shirt! That was totally unacceptable on every level!

Agree mate. I can take a player making a bad pass, or a bad touch etc.. as long as there is an effort. Apart from a few, this team just has no heart. No passion. That's a major problem. Too many coasters. I mean how many 'game changers' do we have? How many guys bust a gut week in week out? Not enough

 This is gonna take a while to turn around. we just don't have the quality. As some have said , too many squad players. We need game changers. Transfer committee should bury their heads in the sand. To spend that kind of money the last few years for a bunch of average players at best. FFS we have a 35m striker on the bench. If he cant play vs Watford , why did we buy him?

The thing is, Rodgers would probably have gotten more out of this current squad of players than Klopp has. Why? Because it was Rodgers who bought them and when he bought them he at least had a plan of what he wanted to do with them. Klopp has just been given these players and told to win games with them.

Worst thing to do was to sack Rodgers 8 (was it 8?) games into the season. That meant Klopp coming in to work with a bunch of players picked by another manager who wasn't around anymore.

Better if they'd have let Rodgers go before a ball was kicked in pre-season, and given the £75m to Klopp.

I mean, sacked after 8 games? That helps nobody apart from our opponents.

EDIT: Not blaming FSG here either; they had a decision to make and neither option was going to be a smooth ride for us.

I don't think I've ever seen a player hold on to the ball for as long as Emre Can does. It's mental how long everything takes when he has the ball.

The truth is he's slow in everything he does on the pitch and he would be a liability on the pitch and Klopp will now have to make a hard decision whether Can is the long term answer to our midfield, Ask me, I'd say no, he's too slow for the PL.

Pretty clear it's going to take Klopp a lot longer than we all thought to sort out the mess left by Rodgers.

true but it shows that the illusion he created was just smoke and mirrors and today it was evident that we are way off being a decent team.
