A game we should win but with our inconstancy you are never sure what team will turn up, need to put a run together and what better than working it up against Fat Sam, could do with working on that goal difference too, - 1 after 18 games is very disapointing

No pressure Liverpool, but 7-0 will take us to 6th and above United on goals scored.

      Don't let me down.

you wouldn't bet against that but then again you wouldn't bet against us getting beat its kind of like that at the moment. A win will put us nicely tucked in for a top four place should we ever put a good run together. Is Sturridge available?

Need a consistent run of good results now after spurs received a helping hand from the officials at Watford today. This league is still wide open and there is all to play for, but if we don't take advantage or don't turn up giving 110% every game, then we may as well write the season off...

Liverpool are on 27 points after 18 games, only 12 points off the top with a game in hand. After 18 games last season we had 2 points less on 25 points but were 20 points off the top.

      Anything seems possible this season.

We need a big victory. All the teams above us have much better GD. Even Everton below us have goal difference of 7, and we have -1.

Unlike before we played Newcastle, Sunderland have been leaking goals all season..
      11 in December alone.
Man City & Arsenal walked all over them.... even the bitters put 6 past them..

They are a very sh*t team so I expect nothing else but a win...
      1-0 or 7-0.. don't care, just a win..

oh and shut that bell end Borini up....

Barring a beach ball type mishap, hopeful of three points here.
Liked Klopp's approach to the Leicester game, 3 attacking minded guys behind the striker. Very positive.
Would hope for similar mentality against a bottom feeder. Keep the intensity high and not let them get a foothold.
Borini couldn't hit a barn, never mind a door, playing in Red, so hope we don't see any proof of Murphy's Law.
Studge seems to feel he's in good shape, but Klopp doesn't seem as sure, so not expecting to see him. So likely Benteke up front. And yes Christian, do take your managers advice, and run more !  And try to kick the ball into an open goal if the opportunity presents itself :)

      There you go.

      Small margins  2 points better.
Jürgen new to the Prem. Not his team. No pre season.
      Beaten some top fours.

      Its OK .

I think the more important point is that last season after 18 games the league was over for us, this season a win at Sunderland will put us only 9 points off the top and while a title challenge looks unlikely, at least we still have one foot in the game.

We are too strong for Sunderland at the moment. They apparently need to splash the cash on new signings right after the game. Allardyce is full of it. And there is nothing "better" for the dressing room, than a manager telling the world they need a quality new players to save the season. Thank you big Sam, the timing to meet your humiliated lot is just perfect.

I'm feeling confident about this one. Hope we absolutely stuff them and get the goal difference up.

I don't care if the ball bounces off Coates arse and into the net for a 0-1 away win for us. I'll take it.

Get the 3 points lads then get the F**k out of there.

Same team as against Leicester but with Benteke starting, hopefully he gives Coates something to think about.

Prior to the foxes win. I'd have gone for Bogdan in goal, his howler against baggies I put down to nerves and Tbf he did ok after,

I was slightly disappointed Jürgen didn’t stick with him for the Leicester match,  I don't think either of our keeper's are good enough but I think Bogdan given enough games would prove his worth,

      Now here comes my contradiction.

I'm sticking with Migs for the Makems match, he knows Sunderland, knows what their about and is more familiar with the surroundings,  if he can stop doing silly stuff like trying to command his area whilst there are numerous players vying for an air bound bag of air, and then trying to punch it clear,
Your sh*t at it Simon, stay on your line,
      Anyhoo,

Consigning fat Sam a tad closer to the trapdoor is the order of the day(night)  Wednesday,
      I'd go thus......

                              Mignolet
              Clyne Lovren Sakho Moreno
                       Henderson. Emre
                               Coutinho
                  Ibe.       Benteke.   Lallana

Bench ;    Bogdan,  Toure, Randall, Texiera, Lucas,  Allen,  Sturridge

Can't emphasise enough the importance of how much a win would be, this league is so open any point is absolutely vital,
Especially against the so called smaller sides, well smaller sides fight harder so come near the seasons end they are fighting for their lives and generally play better,

Can't see us f***in this up if I'm honest,

We have to play with passion and belief, I'd definitely play Benteke for this one, for one thing he needs more confidence and secondly he's a big b***ard which is exactly what we need against a dirty physical team like Sunderland. I'd rest Firminio as he's been sh*te plus will be far to lightweight for this one plus maybe rest Coutts as well. I'd start with Lucas and Allen and push Henderson and Can further forwards, they've both got a shot on them if they could only get it on target a bit more often.

I am hoping the Liverpool who turn up is the same Liverpool who turned up against Leicester only with our shooting boots on

and not the Liverpool who turned up at Newcastle or Watford     Sunderland 1-4 Liverpool
