Well we fought for every ball, ran a yard or two faster, closed the space down and we deserve the win. A faster front line would have demolished Stoke.

I'd say he was told to stay up front and provide an outlet, as Klopp knew we would be under pressure at the end.

I've seen countless players come on in a game with 10 minutes to go and find it hard to get into it and it's even more difficult when the oppostion are chasing a goal.

That's how I seen it.

Joe Allen was out on his feet.
He won some bits and pieces, he wasn't terrible. And probably thought was he could come back and help at set pieces.

Still, fact is it's our best game for a while, and it coincided with him being dropped. So not a great night for Christian ..

Benteke was only on for 10 minutes! What did he do wrong? He was thrown on to relieve pressure as the team were tiring.

Good enough performance to get the job done but I'm not getting carried away. It was a solid 6/10 performance, combined with the fact that Stoke didn't really play as well as they have been doing.

I thought Kolo, Lucas, Allen and Can in particular was immense really is starting to put in some performances of grit and character.
Glad Kolo just has cramp, there must be some decent U21 CB's at the club for the game on Friday.

Gave my MOTM to Allen as i only give him stick normally
