I don't think he would have made much difference. After all, we all recognised the heroic performances by Toure so I don't think there's much reason to look back and curse. That says more about Kolo's magnificence than anything else.

While I agree in all probability it wouldn't have made a difference there'll always be that 'we'll never know' about it now.

Said from the start I wouldn't condemn him or defend him until we knew the details, if true this is really good news.

Appears to me the club whilst believing Sakho innocent acted to stop any potential PR disasters ala Suarezgate.

Toure was motm so let's not talk bollocks, we were sh*te in Basel and in particular it was our attacking trio of Coutinho firmino and Lallana who let us down.

I was under the impression that sakho was available to play anyway but we as a club, and the player himself, chose not to until the investigation was sorted out.

Great news because I'm a huge fan of sakho but he shouldn't have put himself or the club in this position in the first place. Hope this is a lesson learnt and we just put it behind us now and move on.

      Welcome back sakho.

Brilliant news, so does he get compensation? Or is that pushing the boat.

Tough call,as bent as uefa are they were probably well within there  rights
To suspend him so doubt there would be a case for them  to answer too,
Take it on the chin and move on......chuffed to have the big Frenchman back.

It will be interesting now to see what Sakho does..I hope he tries to sue UEFA now because of the missed final

There'll be some small UEFA bullshit print that prevents such reparation.

      Here's a song:

      But UEFA got it wrong
So now let's sing his song

From what i've gathered, he's taken something on the banned substance list but his lawyers have proven that the pills shouldn't be? Is that about right?

It's not actually on the banned substance list. I think they found maybe specific substances which would have alarmed them but the actual pills he took aren't distinctively mentioned in this list perhaps.

You and me both mate, although Toure had a world class performance that game, I think Sakho and Lovren together learned how to cover Moreno's F**k ups, something Toure and Lovren could't do, plus Sakho is a real leader and i think his personality in that game could have made a difference.

BUT i am more than happy to have him back and for me Matip does not walk into our first eleven instead he has to displace either Lovren or Sakho in time and it has to be deserved.

That's right. He's also not been cleared, even if the ban hasn't been extended, the case is still open on him so theoretically they could ban him again. Slim chance, but until the case is closed, it remains one. Right now it seems more like UEFA have their faces covered in Egg and just want this to go away quietly.

If he was totally innocent then he should charge UEFA.

Delighted for Sakho and the club, innocent until proven guilty. Sad to say, he's been hung out to dry by certain members of the LFC family, he's one of us, we stick together!

Great news ... really thought he would be out till Christmas.

Sounds like an embarrassing F**k up by UEFA.
