I'm guessing the ressies will get a game at West Brom at the weekend and these boys can get their rest and focus on the big one next Wednesday. This time next week I plan on being very drunk and very happy!

European qualification through the league looks to be gone now. Just gotta go lift the trophy and qualify that way.

Not a match that will live long in the memory. Highlight of the night? Seeing a Capercaillie on BBC 1.

Understandable end of season performance really where we didn't want to put in a tackle and want to be tackled. Pretty sure we will be a lot more committed and physical next week.

Seemed like our minds was already on next week looking at the number if mis placed passes, poor decisions in the final third, Coutinho was as poor as I have ever seen.

Positives were, No injuries, a run out for the first team, we didn't lose and Benteke scored.

Hopefully no injuries, Lovren was limping at the end of the game.

Yep deco a bonus to have Benteke come off the bench and score again today, he may well be needed in the final and despite his lack of playing time the goals will give him that little bit of confidence should he be needed next Wednesday. Maybe he'll score the winning pen in a shoutout!?!

Would it be useful to play Can in for 45 minutes against West Brom? Looked a tad bit rusty....

Must admit when I seen the team announcement I expected a bit more from the lads tonight based on past performances  fielding almost  the same players.
We created plenty of chances tonight & deserved the equaliser
So well in Ben,gave my motm to migs who made some important saves tonight as he has done in several of our recent matches.

back to same XI that featured v watford, smith for moreno.

he's been our best player pretty much every game this season...he's allowed a 1 off especially when his cm partner was no where to be seen tonight.

Decent unbeaten run at home continues - fair result.  Hazard best player on the pitch.

I had no idea we'd only lost 1 of our last 20 games at home.

All change for next game or do some still want to play one or two first teamers?

Personally I think we have to look to next week now, maybe even with Ojo, Benteke and Allen.

Thought we deserved a draw, though struggled a bit (lot) in the final 3rd. Hardly heard Studge's name mentioned that 2nd half. Bob did OK again, though looked tired at the end. Hazard the little sh*t has done bollox all last 9 months, thought we could've left a bit more on him on the night. Relieved the turds didn't go away with the 3pts. Roll on WB. Not been the best PL season, the Cups have kept us goin, and still have a MASSIVE game to look forward to, which is great.

Finished the season with 15 wins, 12 draws and 4 loses at Anfield.

Bit more firepower, less injuries and a full season with Jürgen should get that record up even higher.

Don't understand why we didn't show that intensity earlier in the match. Maybe Allen had more of an impact as Milner was so laboured throughout the game in a key role and Lallana was unproductive.

Coutinho wasn't good and neither was Can. Firmino was busy as usual and had glimpses, while Danny was rusty.

At least we didn't lose and Benteke scored :)

Every week some c**t keeps voting for the worst player on the pitch as motm. I'm sorry but voting for Can this week is out of order and I know it's the same person every week doing it because each match the worst performer always has 1 vote. They deserve to be named and shamed.

Couts has been a bit off since he came off at halftime with that illness a few weeks ago...good they got to stretch the legs and got out with no injuries.

Just been looking at some first team app. stats for Ojo...

      12 games, 552 minutes, 2 goals, 6 assists, 69 mins per goal/assist.

That's pretty good for an 18 year old who is only just starting to make first team appearances. Let's just say he puts Ibe to shame...

      40 games, 2042 minutes, 3 goals, 4 assists, 291 mins per goal/assist.

Edit: This is aimed more at the decent start Ojo has made than Ibe's poor form.

You've been banging on about how he needs to play and now you're saying Lucas is sh*te, what kind of planet are you on?

Wasn't he moaning before kick off saying Klopp has got it completely wrong because he didn't select Lucas? :lmao:
