I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. My point is that if Klopp had a list of 9 players (regardless of where they are from) why would the club have him only select one to invest in?
Well if the names I mentioned (Grujic, Karius, Zielinski, Dahoud) were part of that "list of nine" I would counter we have 2 of them already, We are definitely trying to go after Dahoud/Zielinski and now we are hearing Coric is one on that list and we are evidently bidding for him.
So out of a total of 9 perhaps we own 2 of them now and are looking at 2-3 more; which would I suppose counter the argument that the club would only allow the manager to invest in one of them.
Matip might off been on that "list" also as Jürgen said the other day he was the first player he thought of when considering who he would bring in at his new club.
Guess that is the point I am making.
