Felt like a loss 

One goal should have been enough to beat Russia there.

Astonishing end, we should have been miles out of sight.

For the main reason there's a lad that gave out a tip of England, Wales, France as his main tip to start off that a lot of people follow. As for England this game should have been out of sight long, long ago.

So the 9th tournament running England fail to win their opening game.   

Bit of pace up front and we could have won that by 3 or 4.  At least the lads will be back for pre season now.

A win would have covered up another poor performance. Poor team selection and substitutes...didn't even bring Vardy on to exploit the space at 1-0. That Wilshere is in the squad over Drinkwater is insane. That the old fool in charge bought him on for Rooney....really? That result and performance you'd hope would knock some sense into the manager.

Typical England. Should have been a game of simple ball retention but they didn't do that. And was Roy trying to be clever leaving Sterling on that long and only using two subs? Because it certainly didn't look clever and the result in the end proved it.

Hodgeson has a real issue with pace.

Brought on Wilshire and Milner when the team was screaming for Pace and energy.

Even Rashford up front would have asked more questions than Kane.

If I was to back anything I'd be backing whoever plays against this Russia side to absolutely batter them. They are total sh*te and rather than cream over the 'nearly' performance that the pundits will do they should be ripping into Roy for not changing Kane earlier and giving them no hope of snatching that point.

There's a sh*t team in Scotland called Cowdenbeath that used to be ironically called the 'Blue Brazil'. Nowadays I hear that Brazil are called the 'Yellow Cowdenbeath'...no irony!
