Sadio had a good game. The most important thing is that he's creating and getting into good positions; his understanding with his fellow attackers is incredible too. In a luckier day he'd have scored at least one, probably two; it was that close. With all due respect to those shouting for Shaqiri, calm the f**k down already. Shaq isn't half the player. Stop the drama. At the start of the season it was Salah, now Mané. They'll both be alright.
Sometimes I read the crap I've written in the past and nod approvingly at myself - you're not *entirely* full of sh*t, Diego.
The overreaction to a patch of bad luck is utterly ridiculous. Sadio, like Mo, and pretty much every other player not named Cristiano or Lionel, will inevitably go through periods of worse luck in front of the goal, but as long as they're creating and getting themselves in good positions, you just know they'll be alright. But then people start screaming for Shaqiri, Lallana, or whatever.
And Sadio gets it worse because despite being perhaps our most consistently brilliant player ever since signing for LFC, he's still somehow underrated. I genuinely think many LFC fans don't quite get just how good he is.
