It was tongue in cheek but here's no emoticon for that. I didn't see Liddell but I have read about his influence. In any case I don't think many on here give a fuc# what I say anyway.

Barnes , Kennedy, Heighway, Thompson, probably in that order.  Steve McManaman would be in there too but I'm saving him for the right.

Another tough one to choose but seeing as my chance meeting with Steve Heighway in 1972 was my reason for supporting Liverpool and his name is sung every time we play it has to be Heighway for me.

Yes I loved Barnes, he was amazing to watch and he'll probably be the winner once to poll goes up so that's all good.

This was the goal I remember him best for. Dunno why - like when you see a movie for the first time when your a kid and it's absolutely brilliant and it rocks you back, but you see it later and it doesn't have the same impact. But I never forgot it. Effortless. In his pomp, an absolute joy to watch.

Not been lucky enough to see many great left midfield players. Harry Kewell wouldn't make my list, nor would Smicer. I think I'd have to choose between Berger and maybe Luis Garcia (even though he didn't always play on the wing)

Would expect Barnes to walk this one though.

Didn't see.much of Stevie heighway , honourable mention to billy Liddell, so want to get ray Kennedy in the team, but has to be johnny Barnes, for the first 3 seasons or so he was unbelievable

Thomson Barnes Heighway  Lidell  in all honesty could be anyone of those , Heighway and Barnes are who I actually saw play , I'm edging towards digger just because he was pure magic on times .
