Sturridge with Lallana finishing there. Needs to do better.

A few interesting breaks beyond the ball from Wijnaldum so far.

Mane lively and TAA at right back has been tidy.

Lovren again with a very odd challenge.

Definitely set up 4-1-4-1 when in defence.

And Migs with his patented kicking the ball out of play for no reason.

Good to see Mignolet has lost nothing with his distribution.

Fair enough FL, Coutinho has disappointed me too I'll agree there.

Lallana with a close shot after the ball from Mane that probably should have been put away by Studge.

I'm not sure I'd say he's been good, tidy enough.

I just mean, when he sees a gap in front of him... he's on his bike and flying into it.

Yeah decent effort on the turn, not sure if it was Sturridge's lack of pace or just a poor pass from Mane, no replay of it yet. Didn't see a replay of it.

It's cute that Klavan passes back to Mignolet and then offers him an angle for a return pass.

How long before you reckon he works out it's quicker to shuffle forward 15 yards and wait for an opposition throw in?

      :lmao:

Ideas are spot on, when we play with tempo we're cutting them open quite well just not quite finishing the moves. I think we could have gone in there 2 or 3 up and it not been unfair.

Easily the best side, Mane the best player in my book.

Little disappointed that Milan don't seem interested in winning and just concentrating on keeping us out. Very much like the Chelsea game so far.

Should be a couple of goals up, but need to be more clinical with our finishing and final ball.

I like what I'm seeing, we have so many more angles of attack now, plus look more organised defensively.

The problem I have is how Coutinho is used, our most creative player is not in the game because our attack is more focused on Mane, I get that Lallana is immense at pressing and can help the midfield out, but why not throw Coutinho in the #10 role and have a bit more finese in the middle? We'll surely see him involved a lot more?

As for the deeper positions, I like to see us slow the tempo at times to give our attacking players a bit of a breather.
