My knowledge of boxing is that it's a DQ offence if you go for an uppercut on your opponents googlies as per my experiences on EA Sport's Fight Night!

Very clever by Joe Joyce endearing himself to the Brazilian crowd.

Our medal winning Olympians really do vary from background, age, ethnicity across a range of so many different sports...proving that there are so many ways to be great!

The BBC have been once again top drawer with their Olympics coverage but it does get annoying the amount of times we have to switch channels in one evening just to satisfy the Eastenders viewership. I mean would it really be harmful to shift Eastenders to BBC 2 for just a few nights...better still just not show it while the Olympics are on? Then again if that happened the raft of letters of complaint that would come flooding in would be unbearable for the organisation. They remember full well the complaints they received when they interrupted a repeat of Mrs Brown's Boys for the small insignificant matter of the death of Nelson Mandela.

It pisses me off when the soap lovers get all emotional and angry when one of their programmes are interrupted, especially on the BBC. They don't realise that they have to cater to a load more people than those that like to watch the same boring sh*t for a couple of hours every night. I remember seeing loads of complaints when the soaps weren't being shown on certain days when the Euro's was on.

they should have made BBC2 and BBC4 the Olympic channels how hard is that to do. I also have a great deal of anger towards the bollox aimed at our pathetic track and field athletes who do nothing by comparison to other sports.

There's too much logic applied to that idea mate. What do you mean by the last comment? You're unhappy with their performances or you're unhappy about people's negative reactions to the track and field athletes?

Damn! Forgot about that! Great to see we've got something to look forward to later.

2-2 in this hockey final. Seems like Britain have had two attacks and scored twice! Intriguing match!
