Might be an idea to see what's going on with players before slating the choice of the manager.

If Lovren didn't get injured in training, Lucas is on the bench and Klavan is in the stands.
If Sakho stopped being a pre-season cockwomble, he'd be starting.

But (and here's the key) we don't have another player to go in there apart from Lucas, who is also just back from injury

In fairness to Lucas apart from his once in a career mistake he's been excellent. He now needs his teammates to step up and make sure his error doesn't matter.

Some here quick to condemn Klopp for starting Lucas.

Aside from the fact it was the most basic error Lucas created and that none of the other centre backs are fit.

It's Klopps F***ing squad mate! Where is the depth while we're sitting on a positive net spend.

Well that was some half, we never do things easy. Migs shouldn't have passed it to Lucas and Lucas shouldn't have misplayed it and passed it in front of goal but they are both being played out of position. Lucas should be in midfield and Migs should be on the bench.

Hopefully we will get back to controlling the game. Otherwise it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Agree about Lucas. Faultless aside from that horrible blunder. Surprised that the mistake came from him as well in all honesty.

he has been heavily involved in most things including tackling so it was a brainfart. We are good in so many ways as long as we win today we can eradicate mistakes later.

Yep, him and Matip are so comfortable on the ball and partly why we have been in control when in possession, their passing is much more positive and decisive than our midfielders.

Toure against West Brom away in the same season made a very similar error as well.

Yep, and he's the only bugger in a red shirt with big enough balls to put it behind him and not let it effect the rest of his game. I'm glad he's on the pitch, he's the unofficial skipper when he plays in my book.

The half time analysis from Savage, Owen and Macca got it bang on about the runs and interaction of the front three... the focal point makes all the difference and being a Red; I'm glad.
