MOTM... If I could nominate two player then firmino would be my second choice but...This may seem strange but I am going to go for Daniel Sturrigde.. To day he was Hunger, Motivated, Mobile and Unselfish... Looked like the old sturridge that use to play along side Suarez

Looked like the old Sturridge because he was a good focal point,
but also because he had Mané and Firmino running riot.

I think those two, and possibly Mané particularly, were vital.

Great stuff.

Never doubted we'd beat Leicester wasn't expecting 4-1.

If Can comes into this team and makes an impression we could do some great things this season. City were good but our front three players are simply the best in the league we haven't at this point got a Suarez or Aguero but we have something better because we will always have at least two of them available. Sturridge did brilliantly and he will get his mojo back.

Firmino motm by a long way. Mane next but the whole team did well today. Goalkeeper to striker.

Even Lucas really, but he will have those moments playing there.

Huge shout also to our left back on the day. Made last years player of the season look amateurish and bagged an assist.

Immense performance from the Reds today,f**king elated,firmino my MOTM but mane, studge Milner,hendo Adam & Lucas certainly in the mix especially Lucas who after his howler showed  real character & true professionalism  to keep his head up an did his job superbly as a make shift CB.

Strange that in a 4-1 win, Mignolet is worth a mention, though not the vote, for Man Of The Match. Don't think we had a player who didn't make a mistake during  the game and though the Lucas mistake caused jitters, we bounced back from all the others. Going to need another watch and some sleep before I cast my MotM vote.

I'm still concerned about our defense. Our offense rocks. Next week against Chelsea we'll know more.... But I think this team can be top4 and more and more we see Klopp's signature and I like that one. Things look bright again for the future.

Absolutely delighted with that result as a whole. Mane offers SO much that we didn't have last season, such a good purchase. He's definitely performing a lot more consistently than he did at Southampton IMO. He's not had a bad game yet (I don't think?).

I am going to vote for Lucas. He made one mistake which most of the players did and got punished. He was however immaculate in his positional play and the timing of his tackles he rarely went to ground he just smothered his opponent and his passing and was simple and quick such an asset to us I am so glad he stayed. He will not play that much but when he starts I am confident he will do a great job.
If we tighten up in Central midfield we are just going to out score teams. A nice warm feeling tonight thank goodness those internationals are over for a while. I really fancy us against Chelsea now.

Thoroughly deserved win and we played very well, always a good sign when your not quite sure who to give the motm to.

Let's give a shout out for Matip again - didn't notice him, but quietly and confidently went about his work.

Importantly though, Henderson played a blinder that was his best performance since the 2013/14 season. Picked up a good few interceptions,and the through balls for a couple of the goals were sublime.

I've poured a lot of scorn on him, so I was very sceptical of him to perform, but tonight he really did a great job. Fair play to him - let's hope he proves me wrong again and again and again this season.

Don't know who to give motm to. Really too many that could claim it, Lallana, Lucas, Matip, Firmino, Mane, Hendo and Migs would even get a shout as might Milner who I thought quietly had a massive game.

I know! Some people even insisted that he should be sold after last game.

Adam Lallana easily my MOTM. Didn't put a foot wrong and was instrumental in our attacking game

Goal aside he was quality. I have no issue with him playing centre back, I just wish we had the chance to play the same defence consistently.

One thing I will say, that linesman had a F***ing shocker! Okazaki being in the area for their goal and the 2 offsides he gave against us when they clearly weren't. These people are in line with the action and still get sh*t wrong all the time.

What a performance against the Champions who are no mugs.

Every player played their part, credit to Lucas who after that horror moment stood firm aginst the likes of Morgan and that nutter called Huth.

On another day we could have scored 10

Big shout to Henderson who had a cracking game as DM, less said about his shooting.

Mane and Firmino were the two standouts and difficult to decide who should get MOTM.

I can't pick a fault. Maybe Clyne who kept losing it but whatever.

Firmino was unstoppable. Tore them apart.

Mané was electric, Sturridge was pretty good, Lallana was very good.

Matip and Lucas were outstanding.
