Not sure why a few seem to be anticipating such a difficult game. I think we should and will win this game quite comfortably. Burnley was a while ago now and hopefully an exception.

Would have preferred Sturridge to start, but I don't think we will miss him too much. I think if we approach this game properly this will be a walk in the park win against a team of "triers." 

Going for a clean sheet and a modest 2-0 win Gigi and Couts getting the goals.

Yep, business as usual again for me today. We are on a superb run... Arguably better than City given the fixtures we've had.

And you can just see with every passing game that a mixture of confidence and getting a deeper understanding of Klopp system that we are becoming devastatingly effective in attack whilst also tightening up at the back.

I think the match will be pretty comfortable for us today and can actually see us giving them a good beating.

No way they'll keep us out and once the first goes in the floodgates will open.

We never have a problem raising our game for the top teams, these types of teams are the ones I always worry about.
Always a concern, it would be nice to keep the momentum going.

Setting aside how good a football coach/manager Jürgen is - the one thing he does, in spades, is that he instills me with great confidence and I'd imagine that is the same with our players. It may be a failing on my part but I can't, for the life of me, understand why some fans don't share that feeling.

Hull have been a bit of a boggie team for us, but know Mr. Potato Head has gone, lets hope we can SMASH them.

Ok Ruth, was not thinking for players to go out killing each other. I was saying that we need to win either dirty, late minute goal, goals galore, etc.

Still sticking to the 5-1 win today....I see no reason why we can't get a solid result against Hull..

The article said he cost us 4 goals in games that we were winning and went on to draw.

So we got 4 points instead of a potential 12.  So he 'cost' us 8 points.

That was a good read and relatively balanced article - it even mentioned "it is reductive to place all the blame for those dropped points on the Belgian. There are other factors at play in each case, not least the defending, positioning and decision-making of those in front of him..."

Listen; I'm not a big fan of Migs, far from it; I didn't want him here because I thought he was signed to cut costs and not on his ability - I even had a number of heated debates with other posters at the time but fair's fair lads...

Even that article doesn't take into account the contribution he made in matches we drew or won when tallying up. To simply say he cost us 8, 10, 20 or a F***ing 100 points without looking to the amount of points he helped secure, really is a crude argument.
