Danny Sturridge will make his 100th Liverpool appearance the next time he plays for the club, which will hopefully be in a couple of weeks against United.
When he was bought we were told that it was a bad signing. If he couldn't make it at City and/or Chelsea, how the F**k was he was gonna be good enough for Liverpool? Well 55 goals in his first 99 games for the club suggests that he's more than good enough. Whether he's ideal for the way Klopp wants us to play is up for debate but he remains the best forward at the club. And it's been a pleasure to watch him over the past two and a half to three years.
I'm still putting the lob against Everton as his best goal for the club.
He'll become the 201st player to hit the landmark for the club, putting him level with Dave Wright and the man responsible for maybe the greatest banner in Liverpool's history - Joey Jones.
If he does make the appearance against United, that'll be his 8th appearance against them for Liverpool - more than any other opposition for Danny. He's also scored four against them during his time here.
Well in Danny lad!!
