You can't even rely on Sky Sports to get the league table right...

Isn't this suspension valid for the League cup game instead of Palace?

      What a strange game

Absolutely dominated them for 80 minutes and then somehow we're worrying we'll lose 2 points.

      Pros
Can was very good, Matip is turning into the steal of the century, played WBA off the park and made many chances against a bus parking team

      Cons
No clean sheet, Karius in no man's land for their corner, Henderson needs to shut his mouth because it's costing us (misses the Palace game)

I thought it would be the Spurs game?

Love to hear Klopp post match pressy,
3 points ok but 2:1 should have been 4-5:0
They will feel like they've been hammered but for anyone who didn't see the game, 2:1 sounds like a respectable score.

It is. So Jürgen will go Emre, Gini, Adam in the middle. Having depth works out again, as it has up front.

I know Phil was good today and had two very important moments, but I thought Lallana was our most influential player overall, so I'm one of the two choosing him for MoM.

Great day for us to go equal on points at the top, winning while Spurs and Arsenal draw. Man City should go up tomorrow, but no matter. Of course it would have been nice to finish off JUST ONE of those chances in the 2nd half, but all's well that ends well. Enjoy it everyone.

Any residual anger I have on this match derives from the immense regret in not driving the most poisonous stake through that creep Pulis's career at West Brom. A 4-0, 5-0 result (which it should have been) would have pushed Pulis close or over the edge.

What did he say?, watched the game & noticed how he fu**ed off down the tunnel when the whistle blew without shaking Klopp's hand...

He was basically making it sound as though they were unlucky to be 2-0 down at HT as we only had 2 shots on target, that our goals came from mistakes by them, implying that we had lots of possession but making it sound like they let us etc.

Only good thing he said was that we have a clear crack at the title this season.

      1. Karius is not up to the task yet, one just can't see it since there were no opportunities so far for our opponents. Mignolet would be my No. 1 right now, no doubt.
      2. It's nitpicking, but we have not a good "possession-shots on target" ratio. If you possess the ball 70% you gotta make 15 or more shots on target (and over 30 shots overall), we just did 7 (21). At times it looks we play tiki-taka like Barca or Spain and I don't like that philosophy since you waste a lot of energy and time to play around the ball in no-man's-land.
      3. Mané & Matip are real deals, and I mean: REAL DEALS!!!
      4. I think we are title contenders. In fact I'm just afraid of City (with de Bryune), if it wasn't for City I'd say we win PL.

Even that's a dig, adds pressure and belittles our achievement if we make it.

Stoke were more of an attacking threat than Man United were, should never have been in with a sniff of points though.
