As they are right now would you trade in Coutinho for Suarez?
      Nov 12, 2016 05:59:50 pm
It's International week so for fun.

Blatantly robbed off @brazilstats2 on Twitter:

You have a choice to make. You can swap Coutinho for Suarez as they are right now. Age, level, everything.

Take into account how long Suarez has got playing at the top level but while doing so you might want to weigh up how long you think Coutinho will be at Liverpool.

      Yes or no?

Poll up and I think I've done it so guests can vote.

F**k Suarez!!  He had his chance to stay and become a club legend and instead turned his back on us in order to go to Barca.  You all sound like a jealous ex-lover begging for one more round to ease the pain.  Better to just cut ties and move on.  We've got a new darling now, and his name is Philippe :)

Suarez. One of the greatest to have ever played the game.

We'd piss the league if he came back.

It'd have to be Suarez for me definitely, I think Coutinho will be out of here in the summer. I don't think Suarez would upset the balance or anything and would improve the team immensely. The only thing would be that the shitty media wouldn't shut up about him being horrible when we have arseholes like 70s pube head who consistently elbows people in the face endangering their actual life without much being said or action taken.
Would the referees be on the lookout for any excuse to appease the crappo press and FA? yes they would but Luis would have scores 20 goals by then.
Coutinho is a lovely footballer but we're very lucky that we have Lallana, Mane and Firmino who could provide that type of service for us.

After Kenny, Luis is the best player I have seen in a liverpool shirt so I have voted for him.

If we take Philly out of the side at the moment, he can be covered. When Suarez left, it took us until now to fill his gap and I still don't think we have properly . Imagine how many we would have scored with him in this season side?

      Of course I would!

Greatest striker on the planet for the last 4 season?

We would smash the league this season with Suarez up top.

It has to be Suarez for me knowing this will never happen,so we have to get right behind Coutinho and give him our full support.

Swap, without a single moment of hesitation.

I love Cou, think he's our best player at the moment but I just think what Suarez offers is exactly what this team would need to take us into CL winning contenders, not just league contenders. Of course that would require everyone to stay fit and we would lose some of our threat from outside of the box.

      A front 3 of:

                 Suarez
          Firmino     Mane

The opposition would need oxygen masks at half time.

I understand that Cou has a longer time in the game left, but Suarez has never really relied on pace so I don't think his fall off would be dramatic and could see him going on into his mid 30s.

I think if Jürgen could have his own go of weird science and invent the perfect footballer for him then it would be Suarez that materialised.

      Coutinho for me.

As much as I enjoyed having Luis he fu**ed off when we needed him most after spending the 3 years he was with us trying to engineer a move away.

I'd swap plus 30 million. No offence to Phil but Luis under Klopp and we would probably piss the league by January.

I love Luis but I sort of go along with this one. I'll take Coutinho. Not because I believe he's a better player but because he has worked hard along with the coaching team and his team mates to reinstate Liverpool's level equal to and arguably above that of the team Suarez played in three years ago. Besides, Suarez had his time here, he chose to leave so that should be that. As things stand, I wouldn't change a thing.

I think I got over Luis's loss once Klopp signed for us last year. He's a memory now rather than a yearning desire (not in that way)! It was far more important having a great manager at Liverpool FC than having a great player and I think Jürgen is proving that this year.

Suarez was once in a life time force like Dalglish however being pragmatic he has probably peaked where as the ceiling for Couts is much higher so just on that its the little magician for me.
