But you have no idea what has been said behind closed doors , well I'm glad we haven't publicly roasted a player , we all know he's been and made a stupid mistake which hopefully he will learn from .

I don't really care what's been said behind closed doors it demands a public Condemnation. Sick of these idiot footballers having their hands held as they ponder their next tattoo all the while thinking the laws of the land only apply to the minions like us whom pay their wages

Big fine, ban and a public apology would do me :)

Hang him in the gallows, draw and quarter him, send his body parts from Land's End to John o'groats, and put his head on a spike for the baying mob to see at the Tower of London.

The difference is, they are wanting a football ban, I, however want to see a driving ban.

How many units was he over ?

Was it 12 and he couldn't stand?, then he'd be a moron.

Was it 1 and he was perfectly coherent?, then it could have been an easy mistake.

Pleased some of you lads have never been my judge.

      Totally agree with this.

Doesn't matter if your are 1 or 10 units over.
The fact is that if you drink and drive you are an idiot.
In the day and age of taxi or uber there really is no excuse
If you can't afford to get driven or if you can, the point remains, you don't drink and drive.
Not a hard thing to understand.

Those who say "We all make mistakes" need to remember, we're not all on 100k a week with every paparazzi on our tail as a role model. Doesn't excuse things for me.

Being on 100K a week doesn't stop him being a human being capable of making mistakes like the rest of us.

WTF has how much he earns a week got to do with things? Is it OK to DD if you're on minimum wage? Look, he's been silly, got caught and the courts will deal with him. Seriously people ought to calm down, ridiculous over reaction in my view.

What's the limit in the U.K.? Here in US, it's a .08 % blood alcohol content, in the state I live in, NJ, it used to be .10 %.
Punishment for first time offenders, if found guilty, is 6 months loss of license, and car insurance sur-charges for 3 years.
Repeat offenders, can get jail and loss of license up to 10 years.

Sakho made a mistake with his pills, he seems to have been judged differently....?

      By people on here?

      Definitely.

But then again taking fat burning pills is way worse than drinking and getting behind the wheel...!

Absurd that someone would've had to have been hurt for people to think differently.

No point in whinging about peoples' opinions when you're really taking it out on them for Klopp's actions.

He's the one who dropped Sahko.

And he's the one who played Bobby.

Mind you, after all that frothing at the mouth you did, about how Firmino shouldn't wear the Red shirt for the foreseeable and about points being dropped not being important and all that faux moral BS. You were quick to toast him and his goal against Stoke.

Some stance you took their kidda.

Coz he's a F***ing good footballer and I'm not bitter about it.

      Public flogging ?
      Apologies ?
      Stopped from working?

      Jesus...

Do people in normal jobs who get done for DD get publicly flogged? Or forced to say sorry on the TV? Or not allowed to work?

      Give me a break

He made a mistake, everyone makes them, he will get banned from driving,  he will get a fine,... just like everyone else in the same situation

Apart from that just let him get on with it

I have got to agree with you Kopite, the next thing is LFCREDS will bring in a penalty for D.I.C.C.(drunk in charge of a computer). If that was to happen we would lose a big percentage of the membership. As you say let Firmino pay whatever penalty is handed out by the courts and get on with winning matches for our club.

Can he be penalized for this one too?

Only if he commits a foul in the penalty area and we don't have a biased ref.And he hasn't been on the ouzo.
