I just counted 9 of their players defending in their box
Very little if any ambition from Plymouth, come to frustrate us ,looking for a draw or to knick  a cheeky goal,we need to up the tempo and move the ball a bit quicker second half.
Lively from ejaria and woodburn & a tad disappointed by origi.

should be at least 1 up. kids playing very well, apart from the final ball, but thats always difficult when playing v 10 defenders. ;D

1st half done. Need Ben to be played in a more central position. Ok half. Too slow in our build up. More like being too careful cos of a counter attack.down side to that is they will have 0 men on the ball before we get to their box. Ejaria needs to be a bit quicker in releasing the ball. Our crossing tactic isn't working as we are significantly smaller than the Plymouth guys hence the corners and crosses.

Ojo has to be braver with that header, Stewart should've practiced long range shots before this game and Origi is probably unlucky to have that goal disallowed.
86% possession I think we had after 35 mins, not sure what it was after 45.
Walking pace stuff, Plymouth not even trying to score, if they come out, game might open. We've been tidy and that's about all Id say.

Expect us to go through, but when you see a half like this you have to wonder about the 'magic' of the FA Cup.
Though maybe it'll end up 3-2 to us after 90mins....

Need to move it about faster, allowing them too much time to shuffle across and keep their shape.

Have a run at them as well, Ojo and Woodburn have both looked lively when they've decided to be a bit more direct.

Plymouth obviously saving their shots up so they're in front of their own fans.  Should be doing much better from our free kicks - got to at least get it past the wall.

Good half that, did everything bar score so hopefully the analysts will have plenty of info to pass on in the break so we can get the breakthrough in the 2nd.

They won't be able to play the full 90 mins under the cosh, just a matter of time until the bus creaks.

A bit embarrassing that this is a once in a life time opportunity for their players to play football at Anfield and they are not interested!

Plymouth aren't here to play, trying to frustrate. If no score by 60 mins, bring on Adam to bring a little more liveliness.

That's probably the most boring f***in game I've ever watched, I reckon their players are on a win bonus of a years supply of f***in pasties, courtesy of their shirt sponsors, no meat, very flakey and sh*te all over.

Well that explains as to why they are a second division team then.

      Origi non existent.

Need to replace him with Bobby or Stu for second half.

      I'd swap him with Ben.

If I were Klopp i would not worry if we did not win this game today... I would look at it as a replay would give me the chance of fielding the same players giving them more match play and experience... I believe if it when over two games we have too much in the locker for Plymouth...Keep faith with the youth Jürgen  :)

If I had to make a change for the second half it would be Firmino for Can, let Bobby pick the passes from midfield....

Plymouth showing us way too much respect, but I feel second half they will be more adventurous and attack us, which in return will allow us more attacking space in their half.

Woodburn has been the pick of the youngsters for me. Good movement, simplistic when needs be, yet our most creative player.

Ejaria has been involved a lot and has looked good too.

Give the youngsters another 15 minutes to score, if not then bring on Lallana, Studge and Firminio to wrap up proceedings.

I think we've been poor to be honest, given the opposition and their lack of ambition. People cry out for playing the youngsters week after week, but games like this show  how far away they are.
Some of the seniors have been poor too, Origi very ordinary, Moreno and Can disappointing.

We need to be a little bit careful, we could get beat from a set piece while we're f****** about.

      Agree.

The extra game would only be a report if we risked injury a few first team players.

Let this side see the game out one way or the other.

One thing that does show is how narrow Moreno has been.

I'd like him to stay a bit more wide this half.

Our play is soooo slow and predictable, nobody looking for a little one two or running off around the edge of the area, nobody trying to drop the shoulder, nobody who looks like they have a hit in them from outside the box.

Seriously if any one of Firmino, Sturridge or Lallana had played that first half I think we'd have been two or three up.
