Well done for what? Being rubbish?

      I don't think so.

They're a League Two team ffs :D. You go on like they're a Sunderland or West Brom. In their league they play open, expansive football but doing that today was never going to work against a team 3 divisions above them. If they were rubbish then what were we?

3 divisions, they're in League Two. One division about non-league.

      well that's even worse ;D

Not unhappy with a replay... Think we needed someone like Coutinho/Firmino picking the passes from midfield instead of Can.... If klopp was to make a changes for the replay I would like to see that and maybe Sturridge for Origi, get some match fitness into him...

Really can't take anything away from Plymouth. This was their final, so well done for them for earning a few more quid. They only have a 13,000 or something capacity, so it's pay day for them.

As for us, well, Klopp played a lot of youngsters which is what we probably all wanted and expected.

I wouldn't even say Klopp was out thought because I don't think he was. Just your typical FA Cup match end of the day.

      Well done Plymouth.

ps. some fans need to take a chill pill or 3, I came off forums due to all the anger and slagging off of players and managers.

ffs. our youngest ever team played ok today, could have been worse, much worse. the experience gained today is massive for some of those lads, were still in the FA cup (after resting the 1st team), weve got a semi final wednesday, and were 2nd in the league.

      Its all good people.

Very poor that. The young lads are individually OK, but none of them is currently stand out enough to inspire anyone round him. Neither are Can, Lucas or Moreno either, so we ended up looking like a very average team. Sturridge I gave MOM simply because he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch when he came on.

Well done to Plymouth though, good effort by them.

      Erk. 0-0.
Even with the 2nd teamers we should really have beaten them, they were poor, and the game was paint drying stuff, completely forgettable.
Expected a lot more from Ojo, Stewart, Woodburn and TAA in particular.  Thought Ojo was awful.
Don't think Karius made a save.
Could've be doing without the replay, enough games on the calendar as is.

Our performance aside, the game and selection say a lot about where the FA Cup stands as a competition. Hard to brand it as 'magical' anymore. Which is a pity, but the PL is such a big fat runaway money train.

Yet again park the bus has done us. We must be trying to practise this in training? If we are it's having zero impact, it's been an issue for years and I'm seeing very few signs of us being able to crack this problem.

That being said, we do have to consider this team has never played together before, the youngest team ever fielded... Just wish we'd have played with some more urgency.

Well that was a waste of a game.

Let's take off the rose tinted glasses and come down to reality. Our young lads need to go and practice their football, and hopefully we won't see them again this season. They are poor. No way near Premier League quality.

Yes they went up against a 10 man defence.. but their passing was slow, predictable, boring and offered no threat. Crossing was a shambles, and the corners were pathetic. What were they trying to do? I know they're excited to play at Anfield in front of the fans, but come on, that was a really poor performance. We could have played for 10 hours and still not scored.

The only threat ever came from Sturridge, and he hardly had the ball.

      Our young lads?

How about our seniors, Can, Origi and Moreno were F***ing appalling.

Gave Gomez MOTM for getting through it without an injury that would have him out for 9 months.  Can't think of anyone who stood out.

Not terrible result, stayed in it using our B team and now our main quad can focus on Southampton and United.

What were you expecting them to do? No chance were they going to come out and play.

Why not? Havant and Waterlooville did and they took the lead twice.

Extreme negativity for cash will kill the game in time.

Get a grip! We had 28 shots and 18 corners. Can't keep blaming the bus. This was the youngest side in Liverpool history and we are still in the FA cup. This has been a great learning experience for some of our players who don't get much football.

      2nd in the league
Next game is a cup semi
      Still in FA cup
      Mostly fit and ready squad.

What is with the complaining guys?

Argyle in style ! Well F**k my f***in luck that says it all, from a commentator supposedly neutral,
Even if your not a fan of the beautiful game that was absolutely f***in sh*te, how the F**k can PAFC call themselves a 'Football' team after that pathetic excuse of a display, that has to be the best non-football exhibition I've ever seen,
How can they be given all this f***in praise for not playing football, is this what we have been reduced to?

It's not fantastic, it's not remarkable. It's not football.

      RANT OVER !

Now let's take a look at what went down here, Jürgen's decision didn't really work, but then again it probably did, coz we're still in this tie, 10 changes were made albeit with added strength second half, it would of course been perfect had we won today, nothing would have benn said and no one would have moaned , accept Macca of course,

Those kids played a well oiled second division side who had to park the f***in bus for over a hour, those kids play mostly in the U23 league, they do not deserve the criticism they will undoubtedly get from the usual suspects when we don't win, this was remember a great learning curve for those lads,

I'm not going to have a dig at any player in red today, it was down to inexperience at the end of the day, but like I said we're still in this tie and still believe we will prevail. Albeit with a extra game,

Argyle defended, stopped us playing and got a replay, that's good for them  financially but, don't ask me to praise them for their lack of bollocks to come out and actually play the game their under achieving players get paid for.

Stewart clear motm for me. Not great but better than the rest.

Particularly disappointed with Can. Would have expected a German international to stand out against League two opposition but he rather sank to their level. Terrible game

Gave my vote to Stewart too. He broke up a few of their attacks quite well, offered support both in defence and attack and managed to do more than the attack did in getting shots away.
