Think Clyne is good. Just off form.

He is average if you ask me. Severely lacking in quality when he has the ball.

Absolutely sh*t performance, but 3 points is the main thing.

      MOTM between Matip and Klavan

Our defence is going to put a few of us in A&E before the season is out.

Gutted we conceded. Gutted we were collectively so sh*t. Gutted we can't pass a ball 5 yards one week and be brilliant the next.
But we won and it's the 3 points that count.

      Relief!

Wasn't pretty, wasn't comfortable but it's 3 points and that's the most you can get.

Consolidating the Arsenal result was vital and in terms of that, job done.

Matip clearly the MotM, tremendous display, which considering we were playing Burnley isn't a glowing report for our lads. Thought there were many poor performances out there but head and shoulders below them all was Nathaniel Clyne, most over-rated player in this squad by a country mile.

Milner wasn't much better and despite the assist I thought Origi was poor too. Mane good in the first half hour, Lallana good in the first half, Emre Can after a poor first 30 was actually very good for the last hour and a lovely goal.

Coutinho surprisingly poor but even with all that we got the 3 points and sometimes you have to win ugly and we did today.

Edit: Missed Klavan off who was also very good, a little shaky early on but after the first 20 mins thought he was good too.

I think Can may be a better CB option than Klavan at the minute

Imagine walking out of Anfield, and thinking, £50 well spent.

God I miss the team of 2006-7.

3pts, yes, but that was dire.

      Get the F**k in!!!

Was a real struggle that but the win is what counts. Make no mistake we will be criticised for how we played, but if it was Chelsea or the mancs they would be praised for 'winning ugly'.

Keeps the pressure on teams around us. On the home straight now, it's all about picking up points no matter how.

So, what have we learnt? What has changed?

Nothing. Same Liverpool performance. We up our game for the big teams. Beat Arsenal, and then show up and play this shocker. Nothing has changed at all. The only difference is that we very fortunately got the 3 points. The win is fully undeserved, and simply covers over the shambolic performance.

Our 2 goals came from nothing, and we could easily have conceded more with very silly mistakes at the back giving Burnley several goal scoring opportunities.

Our luck got us the points today. Aside from those points (which are badly needed) nothing positive to say unfortunately.

Wow, 2-1, and 3 points!!! Massive 3 pts.
And who scored with a sweet shot from 20/25 yards ... Emre Can!!! Yep, after all the critisicm, some fair, some ridiculously over the top, he's basically snatched 3 points for us. So fair fucks to him. And thought he was one of our 'better' performers, 'better' being a relative term today given all round we were generally poor.

Yeah - Matip clearly MOTM. Probably the only player who merited a 7 on the day. Even in that horrific first half hour (a better team would have put us 3 or 4 down) he was the only one getting his head to the ball. It's up to the players ahead of Joel to win the second ball. We were F***ing atrocious at that all match and in truth have been for a few years now. Lack of authority, sense and intelligent in the defensive midfield position. Requires a lot of surgery come the summer.

Shocking. A win is a win they say but they can forget about any ambitions if that is the standard.

We desperately need much more depth to this squad - bullied in midfield, outnumbered it seemed.... we can't just rely on Henderson give us midfield depth.

Clyne pulling out of a challenge summed up too many wimpish attitudes. Coutinho had his worst game for us yet, and is quite frankly not of the standard required at the moment, bringing on the young Woodburn, who did ably with his distribution and much better than Coutinho, was not a drastic measure at all. Barca bound? You're having a laugh.

The central defence held their nerve (more impressive due to the absent Clyne and Milner who were dreadful), and Lallana put in some hard graft and didn't seem perturbed with Burnleys physical approach.

      The rest seem like shirkers.

      Made relatively ealier subs
No fancy footwork but traditional english game
Defended deep and ground out a result

Klopp is learning. You simply can't play an Arsenal against these guys with this squad.

      3 points! ☺

f***in woeful performance, one of those where it's literally embarrassing, I've seen relegation threatened clubs with better fight, we were the home side yet Burnley, yes f***in Burnley were pushing us back, we looked like bus parkers the last 10 mins,
Another disappointing show that, no body in red can be proud of that sh*te,
We got the points but that was just sh*te!!
