      Well if Jürgen really wants him, fair play. But I'm underwhelmed. Hopefully we can get Lemar and VVD. Then it would be a successful window in my book.

      This will be an excellent signing:

      - He's still relatively young (24)
      - He is fast and powerful and therefore offers something completely different for us in midfield
      - He is versatile and can play in different positions
      - He is coming to us for the right reasons - to play football. He turned down £180k per week so that he could play in his preferred position.

      The guy is a breath of fresh air and I can see him becoming our best signing of this window. I'm genuinely delighted we've got him.

      I hope he does well, but 35m for someone you could get for free next summer (especially if he's SO inclined to play for us). I guess at least we got someone Chelsea wanted...although I'd say Arsenal will be feeling pretty good about this deal. Not like they'll spend the money though :D

      Expensive for a Lucas replacement and with a year left on his contract.  Assume the £35M includes Barcelona style add ons.

      A huge welcome to the best club in the world. He is going to have a cracking season under Klopp. He really wanted to come here and I am sure will give his all to make this a successful season for himself and the club.

      For some strange reason I think that he will be a really good signing and one we look back at in a year and be saying what a shrewd bit of business.

      As a squad option across potentially 4 positions he could be vital. And I really think he will flourish under Klopp
