For those that think that we could have signed him a few weeks earlier for the same price it is on the assumptions that the guessers in the media are correct.  These Italians have been moving goal post in negotiations for years, we should know that more than most.  If the deal has been done it looks good compared to the business others have done recently.

Can't think of many youngsters who arrived there and worked their way up to be a star there apart from Hazard. Even Courtois had made his name out on loan at Atletico and made a CL final i think it was before returning to Chelsea.

His pace, versatility, being left footed and going off how people describe his play style, he's the prototype of the winger we are missing.

Using ^, a ~67% chance of him being a success.    In other words, finers crossed. Would be hopeful though, not in a Markovic hopeful kinda way, more confidently hopeful given his past experience. Tis a slight worry though that we were interested in him 'before' Klopp arrived.

When the deal is put on the table by the Roma directors Michael Edwards will probably insist on signing with an old fashioned quill and bottle of ink to dip it in. The moment of signature from our side finally comes and Edwards 'accidentally' brushes his elbow against the bottle of ink tipping it over and all over the transfer documents in the process.
