think dropping lallana into the midfield 3 allows for us to have a link man between midfield and the top 3....and when we have started Sturry up top our momentum suffers and Firmino has gone missing

I would change and bring sturry on at Half time if we are loosing or drawing

Isn't it about time that this lot gave us a performance? I've got no faith in any of them and i'm expecting a torturous , frustrating afternoon of turgid sh*te.

And why shouldn't i ? It's what we've been getting for on 5months now. We need to see something different today from everyone , Klopp included.

What I want to see:

- Lallana back in our midfield three. He brings the best out of Gigi and gives us some movement and inventiveness in the middle of the park. He has to play there.

- Studge up top. Has looked sharp in recent sub appearances so I would roll the dice and bring him on for the horribly out of form Origi who has stunk up the joint to the point where I'd get rid in the summer.

- these two changes would have us looking once again like an inventive side that created genuine opportunities.

What I don't want to see:

- Simply swapping Lallana for Origi and sticking with the same functional midfield against a team that will (if they have any sense) sit deep and try to sucker punch us like the rest of the league do.

Today Jürgen needs to be gutsy in his selection and assertive with his subs if things are not going well.

Not necessarily the case. He may go with Can,Luke,Lallana,Winnie,Origi,Coutinho. He might play the slow hand. Klopp has Sturridge down as a selfish greedy player but he should remember Bob Paisley told Rush to be more selfish.

He can't go for broke from the off and might want an ace up his sleeve. It's to close to call..we might touch on a bit of pressure today.

As we always seem to be saying this is a must win.

And yet we made a profit last summer and didn't sign anyone in January.

We have had a lot of injuries, but the decision to go into a season with a thin squad when so much cash was available looks increasingly terrible and may end up being hugely costly.

Plenty of us pointed out the squad was too thin last summer, injuries have been bad but the club chose to not adequately prepare for that eventuality.
