I can go with the Hodgson bit but I think the Rogers bit is a bit harsh, we were a Joe Allen open goal miss v Everton, a Kolo Toure gimme pass v WBA , and the famous slip from what would have been a wonderful achievement. And who can forget that spell where we went mad destroying Arsenal in the first half, Everton, Southampton away, Man Utd 3-0 away with another 3 penalties denied, scoring 6 at Cardiff. Just my opinion.
I wasn't having a pop at Rogers he nearly achieved a place in Anfield folklore had things gone our way but you're talking with the view of hindsight. What I meant was Kenny was a born winner who in 2012 steered us to two cup finals winning our first trophy for six seasons. I don't believe he deserved the sack in the first place but if we had to change manager Kenny should only have been replaced by a 'better' manager like Rafa or dare I say it Mourinho, better in the sense that they had won Europe's top honours.
Replacing a proven winner like Kenny with a manager from a team lower in the league who had never won a thing made no sense to me, I was very disappointed I'm not saying we'd have won the league under Dalglish but we're improving I think.
Going back to Rafa when he was sacked by H+G I wasn't surprised because his relationship with them had soured but we should have appointed KD straight away not bothering with Hodgson and Rafa could have come back three or four years down the line, that's not after the event that's what I wanted at the time of Rafas sacking.
As I say it's all gone now, not that I can't let something go....
