Hoffenheim are a pretty good team by all accounts with a young dynamic manager BUT they like to play quite an open game and that will suit us perfectly. I expect us to make easy work of them, if not then we don't deserve it and aren't ready for the big time yet.

That's a tough draw, Hoffenheim are a very decent side, the only side I would have liked to avoid out of that lot.

Think we'll still beat them over 2 legs but it'll be a test and no walkover that's for sure.

Didn't lose a league game until nearly February last year.  Should be two good games.  I don't think the current LFC team understand the keeping the first leg tight and then doing the damage second leg so it should allow for two fairly open games by European standards.

60% confident we will go through but it would be some damp squib if we got dumped into the Europa League.

Well let's be honest, we weren't dealing with a packed schedule, any injuries (for the most part) and they weren't exactly playing their best 11 either. I applaud your optimism, but in no way do I think pre-season matches (one way or the other) have much bearing on what we do come time for real games that actually mean something.
