As a Sydneysider I though the atmosphere was embarrassing when compared to Melbourne and even Brisbane put on a better show.
There were that many plastics out there last night it was cringeworthy. Top of my list was fans not knowing the words to ynwa, not singing anything after it, continually trying to kick of the Mexican wave and being more interested in cheering on a F***ing paper airplane flying towards the pitch then watching the game.
I agree. I was F***ing disappointed if we're comparing this to Melbourne. Whenever I looked over towards the kop, they were in disarray. It was really dishearting. So called Liverpool fans. It was everything that Liverpool wasn't about. I didn't get kop seats, because it all got sold out within half an hour. I knew that some people bought 10 tickets on the Kop and we're going to give it to his friends who I'm pretty sure aren't true Liverpool fans. There were F***ing Sydney FC fans on the Kop wearing Sydney FC jerseys! How fu**ed is that?!
I was singing the Team of Carragher song with my missus, and two guys behind us joined in. Meanwhile, the bitches beside us complain about how we're making too much noise? I don't know what the F**k you're doing wearing a Liverpool jersey, but please F**k off. Some guy behind us yelled, I love you Agger! This girl infront of him turned around and gave him the biggest death stare. F**k off! You'd do the same at a beiber concert.
The Liverpool Legends last year had a sh*t turn out. But at least we had real fans! In fairness, it probably would have been better if the game was organised 5 months in advanced as opposed to 1 month.
The first half was great seeing the quality on the pitch. The second half was complete trash. If we had real fans, it wouldn't have mattered how sh*t we were playing, because we would actually be having fun, and singing out hearts out. Tbh, as sad as it sounds the paper planes, beer skulls and the Mexican wave slightly made it up for me considering how stale the second half was. But not worth the $150 tickets.
