Only seen the second half of the Spurs/Utd game (watching now) but Spurs look value for the two goal lead, passing it around Utd for fun, but with purpose, and looking to play the ball forward all the time...

If we are not at the top of our game when next we meet The Spurs we could being for a battering

For sure. Gonna have to pull out our A game on Sunday.

These results, so far, put some pressure on our lads. Let's hope they respond well to it.

Hopefully we win, but dont forget they have an Arsenal game coming up with a Juventus game three days later... can see them concentrating on CL that week and under estimating Arsenal.

edit: And a game against Newport three days before Arsenal...

Why ever not? Man Utd are only 3 pts ahead. Let's go in with the positive that a win vs Spurs puts us right in the contention for 2nd spot. Delighted to see Utd lose tonight.

Two teams above us lost, one is now below us, can't complain with that for a night of results.

Hopefully they turn into their usual selves at Anfield, whens the last time they beat us at home? Must be at least 5-6 years, it's usually one of the games I'm most relaxed about during a season, even more so now they've had their big result.

I still think Spurs have been the best team during the course of the last three seasons. Very unlucky not to win it. They would have if it wasn't for ridiculous winning streaks by City, Chavs and Leicester.

People so worried about Spurs beating the Mancs is shocking IMO. To me it says them people have so little faith in us, the club they apparently support, getting a win vs Spurs (hardly world beaters), they'd happily put faith into the Mancs. Unbelievable, can't get my head round it like.

Transfer window going the way it has makes people feel we are clinging on to finish in top four now.

Understandable and I agree, it's not been great but it could have been much worse. We've signed our key defensive target that we all wanted. Sure we've sold Coutinho but he's missed games through faking injury early on and probably would have faked injury for the rest of the season. Sturridge has barely played for a long time and despite how handy he could have been, that's putting a lot of risk on a player who gets injured if it's a windy day. 1 key player in, and 2 players that would have barely played again isn't as bad as if we had lost Salah and Bobby.
Sure it would have been nice to get in a class keeper and a Coutinho replacement but in all honesty, we could be much worse off and the fact we beat City without Coutinho, shows that we can still beat anyone we play. I'd have preferred us to have got more players in but we did't so there's no point stressing over it, it's done and nothing we can do about it and it certainly wont make me start hoping for a Manc win.

In 3rd, 3 points off 2nd. 8 ahead of 6th placed Arsenal and a win on Sunday puts us 5 ahead of 5th placed Spurs, I'm pretty happy with that at the moment given the circumstances.

Wtf. The only time I'd ever want those Manc cu*ts to win a game would be if its the last day of the Season and we needed them to take 3 points off the Club who stands in the way of us getting our hands on the Title! F**k them always. Bunch of cu*ts.

Besides that, we will make it 5 points ahead on Sunday.
