Was gutted this morning....Had Mo to have 2 shots on target in each half and Liverpool to have a total of 9 shots on target for the game to win $142.

Mo went off with 10 mins to go  - only 1 shot on target 2nd half and we were on 8 shots on target for the whole game!!!

Not sure I agree with this. Football is essentially entertainment- Salah has a talent that makes him one of the best in the world in this particular industry.

Its the same in any industry, movie stars, banking, investments, property development, etc. If you’re the best and have a particular talent, then you’ll be earning the most.

Not for me mate. Half a million a week for 90 to 180 minutes work plus a few hours training doesnt add up for me.

If I was paying anyone the money these guys are on or the figures were talking Id expect perfection every outing. Id expect players yo be equal off both feet for example, not many of them in the game, anywhere. Should someone on half a million a week be entitled to blast a ball wide or over from 15 to 20 feet out?

Yes they should get a nice payday for putting seats on bums etc but in reality are they worth those figures?

Dont believe the 500k stories its BS, Salah will only want the same as big Virg or a wee bit more. The guy is not so motivated by the money, and when your getting paid that kind of money what fekin difference does it make, Tax man takes half of it.

Also remember our wage structure is based on bonuses too.

The delay could be a buyout clause or something like that, or they just waiting till an international break or even winter break / January transfer window to announce it.

Or Salah himself may be thinking ok, in 2 years I may fancy a move so let the contract run down, options open then with no big transfer for us. That would be worst for the club but best for the players.

At end of day who knows. Just enjoy the man the now. playing out his skin.

Very consistent players and deserves his  accolades. Still can't believe some of the Liverpool fans not happy with him. Mind you!! They've gone a bit quiet now.

Oh I very much agree, he's got all the hall marks of a Liverpool legend.

Just watching it again on Game of the Day on sky (so much better quality than the sh*te streams you need for a 3pm kick off) and wow - Salah was absolutely incredible, his touch, vision and all round work rate is the best I’ve ever seen.

He’s surely now the best player in the world.

Since arriving, in the league alone - 150 games and 134 goal involvements (99 goals, 35 assists).

Definitely doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.

Give the man what he wants.

He will never get the plaudits or recognition as he’s not a Harry, Garry, Cristiano, or Pierre he’s  Mohamed. Sad but true.

I don’t think it’s a case of not happy dude BUT if he ever has a lean spell I find the fans don’t cut him the same sort of slack they would Mane or Bobby
