£101M fee over 3 years plus £37M based on CL appearances.

A fee over three years plus add ons after they've just got a lump sum from PSG... I'll let FL finish my thoughts on that.

Barca appear super desperate...they'll go £150M for sure.  The problem is LFC can't/won't get deals done.  Deadline day is shaping up to a "0" or a "10" and nothing in between.

;D of course they would make another bid right before our CL qualifier. Getting desperate now the tight cu*ts.

We would end up appearing with the same sense of desperation were we to sell him at this point.

Other signings will not get done decently if we get Coutinho. Clubs would be looking to pillage our funds and FSG likely wouldn't bite to overpay by as much as clubs would be asking.

Barca are a sh*t club right now. I pray they don't make another signing this window and that Iniesta and others start maneuvering their exits and that the entire club collapses as it seems to already be shaping up to do so. And I hope that Neymar wins his countersuit and exposes some of the sh*t that goes on behind those doors.

Desperate for cash and desperate for decent players all while their bandwagon fans start packing everything up and FIFA and La Liga's bias towards them gets exposed with every day that goes by. Too beautiful of a city for such a pr*ck team. Would be wonderfully happy to see the back of them.

Barcelona are set to make a new £138m bid for Philippe Coutinho, who is more determined than ever to leave the club, according to @SkySports

This has to be the most bizarre transfer of all time. Earlier today he's back tracking, blaming Barca, now he's more determined than ever to leave.

Barca and Sky, a match made in heaven hell.

I'd start playing games with this lot, take our time with responding to the bid, lead them down the garden path then BAM rejected next week and their transfer window is fu**ed because they were banking on Coutinho and they would have only a few days left.

Dirty bas**rds these, going to love seeing them struggle this year.

Sorry Cou but you lost my support. First sore back, now illness. Really? Hope we dont sell him and put him in reserve team. Ungrateful c**t.

Shankly would kick his butt from LFC immediately.

Yes, and another bid by Barcelona just before a big match. Horrible, desperate club, who resort to any dirty tactics to get their own way. Stuff 'em!

No fourth bid from #FCB yet for Phil Coutinho. If tabled, it will receive the same treatment as the others from #LFC http://www.talkaloadofbull.com/en-gb/news/barcelona-set-for-further-rejection-from-liverpool-if-they/1dvj8lt5k7mdv17ezckiivb9i0

Had a thought, the last offer was with so many conditions, and the down payment was over 5 years, some down payment, have Barcalona got any money?

Is this the way they do all their deals?

Do they demand payment in full when they sell a player, or are they happy to accept dribs & drags as they expect others to accept.

      Are they broke?

Where is the £200m from Neymar? As I'm sure as hell he's had to pay that in full to buy out his contract.

Have clubs cottened on, and said "¡money up front Señor!"

With a 4th bid coming up after they threatened to withdraw the 3rd, are they just trying to appeas their fans, who will go ballistic if they don't have a big money signing?

Are they bust? Let's hope so.

The thought of a big club bidding for a player (they know ain't for sale) just to appease mug fans? What? Never.  :o

Barca are becoming a joke of a club in the way they are conducting these transfers, they have lost so much credibility. You simply can't give someone an ultimatum and then come in with another bid, its just pathetic and weak #SAD

I now want us to get them in the CL and knock the fuckers out.

Sounds familiar doesn't it? Like issuing a statement that a club has ended all interest in a player and then wait for the selling club to give the go ahead to buy a certain player. ;)

      1. FCB are very aware LFC are not selling but have been asked by Coutinho to give it a last go. FCB don't want Coutinho upset for future....

Barca & Coutinho just aren't on the same page at all. Both parties are making themselves look like incompetent fools.

      - They know we won't sell but want him to burn bridges at the club even more.
      - Coutinho expects them to make an offer that they both know Barca can't afford.
      - Coutinho's entourage are blaming the entire thing on Barca as though his family didn't know what they were doing

They make us look professional :lmao:

Trying to unsettle us on the eve of such a big game. The bas**rds............hopefully a oil baron club prises Messi away from the cu*ts.

The club have done the right thing and taken Coutinho out of the team so should have no impact tonight.

We would end up appearing with the same sense of desperation were we to sell him at this point.

Not only that but after Leipzig and Southampton have refused to sell to us, we'd look incredibly weak if we rolled over and sold our star player to Barca. It would reduce us to nothing less than a feeder club for Barcelona. It would be a total embarassment for us, especially after that statement FSG put out and harm the club's reputation. Regardless of personal feelings anyone might have, FSG have backed themselves into a corner with that statement and can't now sell Coutinho for any amount of money.

Echo via balague suggesting the bid will be at Coutinho's request. So in my eyes it is Coutinho who is unsettling us on the morning of what is a huge game.

He couldn't care less if that is true. I'd tell the little Judas he isnt going anywhere next summer now .... beyond the joke now.

He created this sideshow and it seems he wants to continue it on the morning of a massive game and make it all about him.

Maybe Coutinho is trying to make Liverpool lose because he thinks it will force us to sell him.

I wouldn't believe a word of Balague his credibility these days is on par with Twitter ITK's.

We have reports yesterday of Coutinho wanting to make up with Klopp and claiming it was Barca forcing him into making the request and today Barca through they're PR machine try the usual destabiling tactics.
Horrible club hope we meet them in the CL and give them a right stuffing.
