asked this in another thread, but what do you think: Does the "I'm injured in Liverpool but I'm not injured in Brazil" thing exonerate FSG/Klopp in the court of public opinion to sell Coutinho now after being so adamant that they wouldn't?
It seems to me like it might, but there's absolutely no wavering in that stance as of today (read Bascombe's tweet from earlier today).
Well, first it was an injury, that Klopp said the medical team had confirmed, then it became "illness" which imo was bollocks.
So the whole "he was injured but OK to play for Brazil" narrative falls down a bit, when he had allegedly recovered from injury, but then had a mystery illness.
Not that I really care one way or another, just putting it out there.
I suppose the owners/Klopp stance, and what people think of it, depends on who they get in, but let's be honest here, we could sign Messi and people would still slate them.
