Oh boy I've been proven wrong
I'll admit, I never rated him, technically weak, defensively wasn't ok and going forward he was decent. BUT, in the last two or three games (especially today) he showed a side that I've never seen from him before. Great at pressing, stamina, defensively solid, good passing, good touch, ran like a workhorse and tactically solid. He is still not good at crossing but so what, Jose Enrique was a good left back but was shyte technically. What strikes me that it isn't just a one ''off'' game, he's been really improving every game and so far has shown that for 8m we got ourselves a bloody good left back. The last time we had a good one was Riise/Aurelio (I thought Jose Enrique was good, too bad about his attitude) but then we had to contend with the likes of Konchesky, Aly Cissokho and a young Moreno.
I gave him a MOTM because he was phenomenal against Sterling. Moreno will have a very very difficult time taking his spot back when he's back from injury.
