Cowards ? Don't be so over dramatic
They've not a set of balls between them.
The core of that squad have been together for years, so many remain for Rodgers' time even.
A failed title challenge, an FA Cup semi final collapse, a League Cup final loss, a Europa League final capitulation and a League Cup semi final sh*t show.
There's players playing for the club who the only 'success' they can point to is finishing fourth last year, something which they did their level best to throw away over Christmas and January from a strong start.
Bournemouth away last year, Watford away two years ago, Watford away a few months ago, Sevilla last week, Spurs away a month ago, City two months ago - a group of lads who panic and concede goals and then panic more. Timid under pressure, definition of cowards.
There's no leaders in that team, there's a reason they all look around in panic as soon as the chips are down... because there's too many cowards.
Klopp and Rodgers' created teams who look great on their day, fantastic footballing sides for a third to a half of a season. The problem is that when it isn't all pinging around on the one touch, when they're a bit tired or when they're a bit off the boil - they time and time again have played within themselves or collapsed.
