      Migs
      Gomez, Klavan, Lovren, Robbo
      Can, Gini, Ox
      Sturridge, Bobby, Phil

Is Sturridge injured? If not I think he gets the start in this, with Solanke having started Sunday.

Another Jürgen may do it is only rest one of Salah and Mane, and rest the other one vs. Bournemouth, with Ox starting both matches and Solanke and Sturridge neither. He will want a full strength side for Arsenal on the 23rd.

Sturridge is out apparently,  this talk of him wanting a loan move is ironic as he is now out again. Personally don't think we should get of anyone in jan unless a replacement comes in

Hope Klopp doesn't turned into a tinker man to carry on tinkering with a winning team. Hendo and Solanke, what did they bring us in the last game? Perhaps slowing down the game while hunky Solanke is too soft to take on the opposition defence.  Just bloody retain a winning team and don't be fanciful.

Expect more rotation, especially in the front 4 as we seem to be on the edge of a few injuries otherwise.

What is the "winning team"?!!  People are getting on their high horses about the rotation, but only when we don't win!  Does anyone know how many times the "Fab 4" have started in the 10 matches since the spurs defeat??!!!  Hazard a guess???

It's twice!  Only 2 matches have they started in a run of 7 wins and 3 draws.  They started in the win over Southampton and the draw against Seville.  So the 8 times we didn't start with them, we won 6 & drew 2.

Rotation or not, we weren't doing much better then 7 wins 3 draws in the last 10 games.  If someone had said to you after the Spurs hammering that we'd win 7 and draw 3 of the next 10 games, we'd have all been delighted, yet people are queuing up to slate Klopp every we don't win, losing their minds & blaming rotation!

      Get a grip!!!

Not sure its what I want but I expect to see:

      Migs
      TAA Klavan Lovren Rob
      Can Gini Phil
      Ox Bobby Mane

We can give out about rotation all we want but realistically if Mane wasn't selfish and Lovren had a brain, we comfortably win the Derby.

And we should be able to manage WBA with Salah on the bench if he is rested as I expect he will be.

I’d like four Gomez in defence. If possible. Even anyone can play in goal.

Me or my nan (anyone but Migs that’s how sick I feel)

      Gomez
      Gomez
      Gomez
      Gomez

      Can
      Gini
      Coutinho

      Mane
      Salah
      Firmino

No wind up. I’ve grown tired of Migs and Lovren. It’s really sad.

I think Migs and Lovren is a problem we're going to have to deal with until the end of the season now. But I feel your frustrations, they cannot play together.

I have never seen a more indecisive pair at the back for us, and this is one of the formulas that causes us problems regularly. (And if you don't believe me count how many times we're at the back messing around when one of them are out of the team).

Rest Salah and Mane. Play Coutinho on the left and play Chambo on the right. Bring Emre in to anchor the midfield and pair him with Henderson & Wijnaldum.

I predict a tough one tonight.

Do not know, what to expect, with all these rotations. Need a win tonight, which a full strength side should achieve. Being that is too much to expect, maybe a narrow win for the Reds !

      Agreed.

Could put Moreno ( its only a matter of time before the next f*** up) and Hendo in the mix as well.

Moreno being injured is only a good thing for us.

Robertson's got something about him, a tenacity not felt since (dare I say it) Riise. I expect him to bag a few assists if he continues to play, maybe a few crosses might go in ;)

If we can't critisize, comment, highlight the wrongs then what's the point being here in this forum, if everything Klopp does cannot be critisized.  So, you seems to be of the opinion that the rotation does not affect the results. Don't tell me you are going to deny the fab 4 is a winning formula, are you???  Then our debate stops this very moment.

Going by your logic, tinkering the lineup doesn't affect the results, then we should be hammering the bitters with that line-up and why aren't we??? Pls enlighten. And who do I point the fault at if not the line-up? Blame it on the floodlights,  corner flag or even the poor tea lady???

Go on, go on and use the same lineup against bitters for this game and see what happens. I am looking at the lineup during matchday and performance of players on the pitch and the final score.  I don't buy those fancy computer analysis or looking back at previous scores. It means nothing, it has gone past us long ago.

Get a grip dude, start to recognise what is a winning formula. If you start to defend the undefendable then you'll soon be talking to yourself.

      Have a pleasant day ahead.

You say not to tinker with a "winning team".  My point is there hasn't been a winning team that won a bunch of matches on the trot, then got changed and lost.  The fab 4 have started twice and only won once in the past 10 matches, so they're not part of any sequence of winning results.  I would start all 4 if fit, obviously, but why blame rotation for the Everton result and not blame rotation for the Seville result?

Liverpool's winning formula in the last 10 matches (won 7/drawn 3) has been during a period of almost extreme rotation, so what is the winning formula you're talking about, as we're undefeated in 10 without it?!

2 of those 3 games featured Henderson  :f_whistle:

I am hoping go 2 changes today, Hendo and Lovren.. for rotation purposes of course :P

TAA in at right back. It's tempting to put Gomez at CB but I'm pretty sure Klopp will stick with Lovren. Tough call - I'm not sure Gomez is quite ready for CB and it could set him back if he has a bad game.

Now that I've cooled down after the derby I'm feeling a bit more forgiving of Lovren for the pen. Bottom line it was a dive and the ref bought it. It's hard to say whether Lovren actually pushed at all or whether it was all down to a clever wee pushback from the striker. Still don't think Lovren is good enough for us right enough but I won't be too perplexed if Jürgen sticks with him for this one.

Gini and Can back in midfield. If Salah has a tight hamstring as Jürgen suggested then we have to rest him. We'll miss him, but better for one game than twenty.

Milner in at LB possibly. Robertson played pretty well on Sunday but he might be rested. Hendo rested. So -

                             Mig

      TAA    Lovren  Klavan   Milner/Robbo

                  Can      Gini

      Ox              Cou           Mane

                      Firmino

Hopefully see Lallana come off the bench at some point. I would probably swap Robertson and Milner early in the 2nd half as well.
