Not for me. Every team misses chances.

We've scored 3 times at the Emirates, if I were one of the attackers I'd be expecting my defence to help us out and get us over the line if we bag three. Can't be expected to score 4 or more every week - not even City do that.

Not exactly once in a while with Mignolet is it?

Neville hitting the nail on the head and repeating everything Milner said. Have to turn a game boring when you ahead against the better sides. Drop off, deny space, play a few channels balls, slow the game down etc but it's simply not in Klopp's DNA. We like to pin it on a particular player most weeks but I think it will always happen no matter who is in there. We always offer space in behind, even when we're 3-0 up in games. There's always a chance for the opposition and I think that would still be the case even with some special players at the back and in goal.

Migs played Xhaka's long distance shot poorly, but let's not get ahead: it was his only mistake in the game and stuff like that happens once in a while. In fact his one arm box was alright, he just guessed the ball wrong, but that happens sometimes with these modern balls.

      A genuinely awful post.

It's at the stage where you have to ask yourself, what does Mignolet actually have to do for people to stop formulating contrarian posts for Top Red points.

If Mignolet picked up the ball off a passback and rifled it top corner of his own net someone on here would tell you it's okay because he saved a header straight at him during a match with Costa Rica at U19 World Cup level.

Also begs the question when Klopp will finally accept it's over.

What bothers me is that he looks as if he doesn't care. He looks like a miffed kid that realized he's not the show in Liverpool anymore and wants everybody to see he's p*ssed. Maybe I am overinterpreting this.

Migs doesn't bother, according to James Pearce.
Let's not bother playing him anymore.

Criticism is never far away. But he has learned to switch off and ignore it.

“I don’t take any notice,” he said. “If I’ve played well or if I’ve played badly, I don’t need to be told. I always analyse my games in the most critical of ways.

“Everyone has an opinion and they’re entitled to that. With all the social media, people can vent those opinions. You have to accept it, it comes with playing for a club as big as Liverpool.

“I think keepers have always needed to have a thick skin but probably even more so these days.”

Anyway, time to move on. All three of our rivals away from home tomorrow so chance for dropped points and then Swansea, Burnley and Leicester to come - good chance for 9 points we could really do with picking up.

In fairness Pippen's post does have some comedic value...even if that wasn't his intention.

We have to depend on our rivals because of F***ing Migs, who can't even get his fundamentals right. Migs out. And take Lovren with you on your way out.

I said the same on here a month or so ago; you can't blame Mignolet.

He is what he is and he has been what he is since Klopp got here.

He is playing at his highest level which is not good enough. Nowhere near.

He doesn't continue to pick himself for games, though. Just like he isn't the one  who doesn't replace himself in the transfer windows that we see come and go.

We're blaming the wrong guy for Mignolet's mistakes while he's wearing his Liverpool kit at this point.

There's no defending Migs for the 2nd goal, there really isn't BUT so many will focus only on that that. We let in three and they all could have been prevented. I just wish we'd drop off and play deeper once we've got these leads. Even for  their first goal, look how high our back line is, there is way too much space and they are all having to retreat. Park the us for ten minutes and kill these sides on the break.

Once again one of the three stooges costs us again. When is JĂźrgen going to realise the problems?
Maybe he is "forced" to play them....

Yeah again the midfield got overrun and the invisible ozil appeared for 5 minutes to get the opta monkeys wanking over him again,  defence were exposed. Game should have been done by ht though

True. He should've been shipped out a year ago, if not before.
We have other GK options, though even they are maybe not at the level we need either.

Still, when he sticks his thumb in his own ass, you can't help but loose the rag at him.

      Maybe this summer...

Needs proper money spending on a quality keeper.

      Not one for the future.

Did Cech not make the same mistake as Migs for our 3rd?

Migs should have done better for their 3rd, and i agree he is crap, but i think everyones being a little harsh on the guy.

Klopps assessment was mainly right. They play the right system, but haven't all the pieces now and indeed all our draws could have been wins.
