Impenetrable yesterday. Outstanding display that gives the team something to grasp onto. Liverpool's best player and arguably the best player in the whole league. It's fantastic watching him play!

They are going to have to make up some new words for how good he is. And just entering his prime, should get even better.

I pointed out a few weeks that the only aspect of his game he needed to improve to be the complete defender was add a little bit of scoring, as at the time he had not scored since his first game with us against Everton in the FA Cup, but now he's had 3 goals recently (2 against Watford, then last night) and being an all around beast. Just an amazing player.

As for legend status, that is where i will disagree with you. I think he needs to lead us to big trophies to be a legend.

If the likes of Salah (0) and Suarez (1) are LFC legends then I don't see why VVD would need to win trophies to be a legend here either.

Perhaps none of the above are Liverpool legends. Up for debate isn't it?
