Saw that on LFC Instagram post, I would imagine surgery was successful with no complications?

Read on another website that the surgery was successful, probably resting a few days then starting the successful road back To playing again. My daughter started physical rehabilitation 2 days after her ACL surgery, so I would imagine something same for VVD too. God bless him in this journey back.

No, I think March is too soon, but would expect Virgil back all going well for the start of next season.

I still have this feeling that it will be sooner than most think, Virgil is not like normal players.

The guy is a fine specimen of a man and I expect we’ll start to see him eased back into the team towards the end of this season, with 5 games or so left and fully expect to see him in a dirt and sweat covered shirt queuing to get his hands on the trophy again.

Edit: who am I kidding? This man doesn’t sweat...

It's absolutely normal for an ACL apparantly, to do muscle strengthening exercises around the knee without putting strain on the graft. But he is Superman and Klopp said he was a quick healer so maybe we will have him back for the CL final.

I’ve got inflammation on both knees & can hardly stand or walk at times and this was through decorating my house..

VVD was assaulted with a a career ending tackle..his knee looks if far better shape than mine .... 😃

I wouldn’t beat yourself up mate, Virgil has the best medical care and attention that money could buy. Not to mention he’s a monster of a man.
