Matip has been a weak link recently so I understand Klopp going with the Southampton pair. Ox being dropped for Henderson is a travesty though. Just because he's captain he walks straight back into the side. Ox is a far more intelligent and agile midfielder.

Mily and Hendo playing together in the MF against a high pace attacking team? Klopp playing for a draw IMO. The pace of Gini or Ox is what we need in these high line attack style games. I hope he’s right in leaving the pacy lads out.

Obviously it's a vote of confidence from Jürgen and  a chance for Lovren to redeem himself. And If I thought Lovren was still a prospect for us I would say fair enough. But I don't think he is anymore, he's had too many 2nd chances as it is, and I wish he'd just play Matip and not feel the need to flirt with proven liabilities.

Not convinced this is the right line up to beat these. Lovren must be worried shirtless after his four performance against these, and Milner in the middle, solid enough, but a bit slow.
