We were by far the better side first half!
True but we could not convert that into more than one goal....

It was the linesman who failed to spot the offside on the first penalty decision & told the ref to give a pen on the second.
So the linesman needs investigating too. I am fine with the scoreline because Arsenal v Spurs means somebody is dropping points and we kept our top four position today.

Baffling decisions from the ref aside that was a fair result for us
I'm a lot more concerned by the fact that our main players look knackered (Firmino especially) due to the lack of rest. I hope they'll carry on as much as they could for the rest of the season because we sure as f**k don't have any good option on the bench.

Yeah agree, it's criminal how weak our depth is now

In other news, thought Karius had his best game and was man of the match

Salah...feel so sorry for him. You score a goal like that on 90m and you have a right to think you've won it.

VvD was only trying to do what he's paid to do, defend and clear the ball. When he swings his foot he can't even see Lamela. That's just plain unlucky but it was a pen.

      Feeling sick

Kane's first penalty was not given offside because it was deemed that Lovren touched the ball last.

I'm a bit all over the place after that.

First off - another really entertaining game of footy :)
Can't complain about sharing the points, on the basis of the match. We owned the 1st half. Spurs dominated the 2nd.
2nd goal - the guy was offside!! - linesman even said as much to the ref!? Terrible decision to give the peno. BUT good save by Karius, who I thought had a decent match.

Mo Salah - what can you say - the guy is unbelievable. Thought he'd won it - REAL disappointment is not holding onto it from there :(

We looked SO tired in the 2nd half, across the middle and up front - apart from Mo who looked strong throughout.
Bob ran his guts out, but his passing was off. Mane was in and out of the match. Gini and AOC made no impact tho when they came on. Hendo/Milner/Can wilted.
I actually thought we were fairly solid before Matip came on, tho Spuds were putting pressure on, we were soaking it up well.

At least we didn't loose it, which we could easily have given how we faded. The Mo show nearly won it. But will settle for the draw.

Why is everyone complaining? overall it is a fair result. Spurs had more shots on target than us. We would have lost with Mignolet. Spurs v Arsenal next week and we have Southampton. We have a good chance to pull clear now. It was important we didn't lose today and we didn't.

      You F**k off too.

When Spurs had the first penalty at 1-1 you would have taken a draw.

Pochettino was all over the ref at full time, it certainly looked a bit suspect! Totally sick of referees making mistakes that could cost teams millions of pounds at the end of the season. We need officials who are fitter, more professional and more accountable. This is a multi million pound industry that’s officiated by unfit, unprofessional, biased individuals!

That was probably the third time this season we dropped 2 points due to refs giving away wrong penalty call in the last minute of the game (West Brom, Everton, and now this).
Can't we do anything about this? It's F***ing embarrassing how bad the officiating in this country is.

Never should have taken Mane off,Took away goal scoring options, and replaced them with the Ox...

Midfield went missing second half, Can more then anyone else...

The Gini/Ox subs should have been for Milner and Can and I would have bought on Matip on for Henderson and have the option to push VVD in front of the back four (The Henderson role) of TAA,Matip,Lovern,Robinson...

Klopp's mistake was not reacting to the position Spurs were having in Midfield quickly enough

Can somebody please explain to me how the F**k Lovren touching that ball makes Kane onside? When the initial ball was played Kane is offside anyway so therefore he's offside when the ball comes into his feet.

      Firstly Moss is a kn#b...
Diego mentioned stats about not seeing out a game from a winning position,  I'd like to see the stats for shots taken to goals scored, I bet we are way down.
IMO we won't win a league without a proper striker ie Aubameyang, it's costing us not putting games to bed.
