yesterday a Norwich player feigned a head injury when it hit his hand not his face and the REF stopped play a free kick and a booking should have occured but no nothing happened our Refs and VAR people are second rate at best.
A VAR can't give a yellow card, and that incident is not a VAR matter.
even the SKY ref would not have given a penalty
He probably wouldn't have given the penalty in Madrid either, even though it was clear as day.
Looking at the replays, I'm not saying it did hit his arm, but I can't prove that it didn't. VAR said the replays were inconclusive, so it goes back to what the ref gave on the field. Something more like the "umpires call" in cricket.
The fact it's taken until almost halfway through the season for this thread to become active, shows that even less errors have been made than the already very low number in the past two seasons.
