Sorry - I'll never get that attitude. It's almost as if great moments must be allied with trophies which would make football a far less beautiful game. Goals like that don't stand or fall on the basis of what happens after it. Such an attitude would only lead to permanent misery! Some of us need to value being 'in the moment' more otherwise we'll never be happy.
As for the selection (great thread by the way) for sheer style and a perfect exemplification of Klopp's Liverpool I'd go for Can's second goal against Hoffenheim. From 0-100 in the blink of the eye and then a beautiful floating ball for Can to smash - that was a perfect goal and so satisfying.
Agree with this.
When we played city in the league cup final a couple of seasons ago, I always say that it was worth the trip for when coutinho equalised, even though we came back empty handed.
Coutinho came and celebrated by the corner flag where I was sat and I went absolutely mental. He jumped over a small barrier and then 10-20 of us did the same to try and hug him, I was one.
City obviously went on to win which had me gutted but on the coach back I came across sh*t loads of photos on twitter of that moment with me on them and I couldn't help but smile. In that moment i was so happy and it's what footballs about - ups and downs.
Also agree on the goal choice btw!
